I really NEED a how to video about increasing the Elevation Rate 🙏🏻 the MAX I can get is 0.8 °/s
Completely depends on the weight of the gun and the amount of torque you set it to. If you've maxed the torque out and its still slow you can try balancing the gun breach by increasing shell length, but otherwise there isn't much you can do.

Smaller cannons, if its too heavy it will move slower, i think anyway
Try using the bigger mantlet
You can edit the .blueprint file to turn the counterweight to be negative, just be aware of extreme gun depression

There's one bug: if you set start and end barrel thickness at one number it will be lighter than you set different number. For example: 30mm for start and 15mm for end will be heavier than 30mm for start and 30mm for end
Can we make the exact stats gun like that on the tiger 2 , 88mm l71 gun with over 1000m/s muzzle velocity and 230+ mm penetration.

I am still somewhat struggling with that scenario myself, actually. But once I get a better setup for it, I will make a guide on it.
Never played but I’d imagine the longer the tank the better and make sure you have good suspension
@@jameson1239 Before the 0.106 update that fixed traction, I had a lot of problems with it. The biggest with No Tanks Land at the time was that torsion bar suspension was better for crossing the trenches, however it was pretty crap for the rough conditions elsewhere. HVSS suspension dominated the rough terrain, but in my experience fell on its face trying to cross the trenches as the roadwheels would get hung on the opposite side of the trench and you'd be stuck. With the 0.106 update, my most successful design that only got to the 2nd trench before just breezed across all of them only being stopped when they fell in mud pits or huge shell craters.

so larger road wheels, long tank, and front road wheel as close to the front of the tank as possible should help you cross the trenches
the gun with best penetration now is a 152mm 1.20m shell length with 8m barrel length gun if you can change my mind (best penetration not best gun)

That is because you had the azimuth torque set to maximum when using a gun mount that alloed that option. At the moment there is a bug where while the slider is hidden the weight and volume are still calculated. You can tell by the fact the green lines limits are still displayed along the red vertical ones. To fix this you either swap the gun mount for one with azimuth, set the slider to 0, swap back your preferred gun mount, or if you don't want to lose the exact gun mount placement you go to your documents folder, then "my games/sprocket/factions/[your faction]/blueprints/vehicles" and open the ".blueprint" file with your tank name, and edit the number right after "AzimuthTorque" to 0.
The dev has been informed and might fix it soon.

Hey man I'm really trying to do a build that makes the turret rotate while the gun is in the hole like you showed in this video for a little bit at 1:56 I'm trying to do it but I can't seem to get my turret to rotate no matter how much I changed any settings it doesn't make any sense what I'm doing wrong if you could let me know how I can make that work it would be very nice I'm trying to do a build it's very very specific purpose I know it's kind of strange but help would be appreciated seeing how I can't seem to do what you did in this video
Is that game only about design? There is no fights or campaing? In Spore you could design creature then tribe and country of their kind
There are different scenarios you can play through, from different time periods. However, I prefer to educate people over gameplay videos.

On one of my custom tanks my elevation torque is stuck at .50 KN how do you change that
It's because each mission is set to an era, therefor, the capabilities of your tank are limited to the technology the era had at the time. so for No Tank's Land, your elevation and azimuth are limited to 0.50Kn, where as the very last mission allows up to 12.0Kn of torque

How do I make the barrel longer?
i have a question. in some of my tanks, no matter how i shape the turret and how small calliber gun i use, the gun sometimes just refuses to get loaded. is there something to know about optimal gun placements or something like that? i have struggled for about an hour to make the gun work, and i just cant figure out why it refuses to get loaded
If your gun does not load, make sure the loader is in the same compartment as the gun, and if you are only using APHE, to press 2 on your keyboard to start loading.
@@Catequil thank you for the help! i would have never thought not pressing the aphe button would be the problem. i honestly thought that i had some issues with something else. it is weird, because in some of my tanks the loader loads aphe automatically. anyways, thanks again for the help
How do you see the Yellow line?
So this has a blue line now, but it doesn't make sense. Is the center of mass at the end of the red line near the mantlet or do you just make the blue line as small as possible?

You want to make the blue line as small as possible
My Elecation Torque only goes up to 1 kN.n
That means you are in a era that only allows up to 1 kN

still not understanding a shit , this game is just trash.. i mount a gun and i can't elevate it WHILE i do exactly llike you.... it's just no sense this game , you should be able to just put a gun set a lenght and it's done... i have a 100MM gun you a 128 and mine doesn't work??? what is this for bullshit srsly
The game is still in early access. Not everything will be perfect. If your cannon doesn't work, it probably still is too heavy or unbalanced.
