Good for you guys that you can get your passport in few days. Went through a struggle to renew my passport at Ghana consulate in NY. I still don’t even have it yet, had to fill application online. Before they scheduled an appointment for me. Have to go there for the process and present my forms. Will get my passport in three weeks or more🤦🏾♀️.

The steps you have mentioned are spot on 👌🏾.
I did the fast track. Printed everything in duplicate (the effico in me demanded triplicate but I reigned that it) it wasn't required just the proof of payment, form and acknowledgement and postal order of course.
Arrived really early and they open on the dot was done by 10am.
Before I could drink water the next day .. my passport arrived in the post like magic. I had to go through all the information just to be sure you know with scammers everywhere these days 😂
I must say the service was very efficient and professional I was really impressed.

If you are having issues with the payment page. You need to note that the address on the payment page should match the address you entered on the passport details page.
So if you put Flat 99, you must put Flat 99 on the payment page.
If they don’t match the payment confirmation page will keep disappearing.
As well as your email address you use for login page should match

Hi I applied through innovate, can I still use the £120 postal order?
I followed the steps here, had applied in July with no appointment date given, got the postal order for 120 pounds and self addressed envelope both from Royal Mail (additional £10 or £15). Took a night bus from glasgow and got there on the 20th dec at 7am, opened at 9am and I was done by 11am. And on the 24th Dec. I had my passport in hand. Just ensure you
1). Have your postal order(those who didn't have where told to wait till there get a date and where denied entry as at that early don't know if there later went in)
2). Have your National Identification Number(NIN) even for kids, a couple and their two kids where not allowed in because the kids didn't have.
3). Take all your print out and old passport.
4). Get there on time.
I stand corrected if I missed anything.

@@aderinsolaagunloye7386 Hello...No I wasn't asked for the slip, mine too was also blank because I didn't know it when I was applying in August/July. So the form I took to the embassy the NIN was blank, I think it wasn't an issue because it's already on their record or system when my very first passport was done.
But if it's a new passport then it's either you have filled it in when applying(it will appear on the form) or you present the slip(if you didn't have it when applying that is the NIN is blank).
Also do more research and best of luck.

Thank you Funke I followed this process on the 9th of August I arrived at the Nigeria high commission at about 10am and left there around 16pm,though it was very rowdy but eventually got it done but still waiting for the arrival of the new passport. Thank you Funke.
George Olayode, you’re part of the problem because you think you can pay an extra money to fast track your passport renewal. But you end up wasting money and time by waiting for more than 6 hours to get your picture taken. However, you didn’t go home with your new passport after your corrupt act. But you’ll need to wait for another 12 weeks before receiving your passport in the mail. Shame on you.
@@breezenking You’re wrong it was official indicated on the high commission website if you are happy to fast track you will have to pay for it, so there is no corrupt practices here, more so I got my passport within three days.

You end up wasting time and money after paying an extra money to fast track your passport renewal. You shouldn’t have to wait for another 6 hours before getting your picture taken. Shame on you. Everyone do receive their passport in the mail 3 to 5 days after their interviews.
Please is it only £100 to Nigeria high commission, then you pay the admins charge to the post office. Or is it £120 to high commission then an extra admin charge for the post office

Seems a lot has changed since this video. I did exactly as explained and visited the embassy on 12th November 21 and was given a date 8th December to expect my passport, I don't have my passport yet and application status still says vetted today 9th December. It appears that the £120 is just to get your biometrics done without an appointment as their system had trouble generating appointment dates. And now the whole process has completely changed as you would need a NIN before you can apply for a passport.

You can pay for your passport to be expedited. I would plan for 3 weeks but this depends on location of progressing.

Hello Funke. Can you get a nigerian passport if you are married to a nigerian man? When completing application it asks you to put your residence in nigeria but we live in the UK. Uk citizen
If your husband has a relative or friend living in Nigeria, just use their address. Nobody checks up on it.
I quite appreciate your efforts to help those who are struggling to get their passport. You see, this video is a good illustration why we will never get it right in that Nigeria. Let me break it down, you pay £40 to obtain your NIN, pay $150 to apply for the passport, and then £120 to fast track, what else did i forget? and we carry on as if everything is alright in that country. You are simply encouraging corruption for a piece of paper that is not more than £40. An average Nigerian family in UK of 4 kids and two parents will be expecting to pay about £1000 and we think its alright. I weep for that country.

Depends on where you live. If you live in the States, Nigeria has an Embassy in New York, Washington DC and Atlanta.

I did fast track and capture at Nigerian embassy in London. I have not yet received my passport and its gone three weeks. I checked the status online and it just says vetted. I guess it just hasn't been printed. Surprised its taking this long.

@@Solimisak I had to go to the embassy to see what was happening. I waited four hours but finally got it that day! Fast track doesn't mean that you can get your passport quicker, it just means that you bypass the time you are waiting for an appt.

Hi the NIS website says, u can apply when you have at most 6months, left b4 expiry. This, gives u enough time to avoid having to pay for the fast track in case you need ur passport in a hurry

Very informative. I actually plan to do that on Monday. With respect to the Postal Order, do you buy £120 PO or £100 and another £20? On their website, 100 is for fast track and 20 is for administrative charge.

No appointment needed you can go straight to the embassy but don’t expect your passport to come within 2 days as the lady mentioned in this video. I think because it’s the busiest time of the year. The whole idea you paying an extra 100 pounds is to go there without an appointment.

I got my passport delivered to my house today, 28th in London. I paid for priority and went for biometric on Wednesday, 25th. I got there early and was able to enter by 11:30am. Thanks Funke for the guide.

There is no appointment required. Just get there early, maybe 7am cux the queue is always long.

Sassy, but why are you encouraging corruption on your channel? This extra payment on trying to renew a Nigerian passport will lead to something else. Let’s curb the corrupt habit of the people in power, by not paying an extra money to get a passport, after making the regular payment.
Funke is not encouraging corruption in any way. The message is for people who want their passport quick. And she tagged it fast track and that goes with a fee. But poeple can wait and do the regular passport its up to individual and and need of urgency.

Funke was clearly promoting corruption on her channel by encouraging citizens to pay an extra fee of $100 to fast tack the renewal of their passport. I just renew my US passport and I didn’t go through hell to get it done. I just went to the post office and fill out the form and put my old passport in the envelope, along with the renewal fee, without paying any extra fees nor processing fee. Paying an extra fees doesn’t fast track any process at the Nigerian consulate. You’ll still need to wait for 5 hours to get your picture taking after paying another $30 processing fee. I just went through the process on Friday without paying any extra fee. And I met lots of people in there stating that they made an extra $100 or $150 to get the fast track process, but they end up waiting for 5 hours before getting their picture taking. It’s not up to an individual to continue promoting corruption, but it must be a collective effort to stop the corruption and the bad habit. Nigerian consulate is deliberately restricting the interview date online, in other to continue forcing citizens to pay an extra fees for their renewal, which is simply corruption. The inferior and low self esteem mentality can’t continue like this, it will eventually destroy our society.

Hi all, like, I stated, the fast track resumed in London last week (11th October 2021 ... And I went there on the wed 14th October and got my new one delivered this, morning 19th Oct by 9.56am! . It really does work.
