As someone from the UK, I think it is true. Forget one-on-one mentoring - that is too much pressure and people don't want to commit. There should be a large groups or organisation; formed I don't know, call it the African Diaspora Association. Their function should be pulling money together and networking for Africans in the diaspora, with weekly meetings on KPIs/goals at some townhall or online. This is more of a collective, more effective and less pressure on just one individual.

Just before he became a minister in your present government, the honorable minister Dr Bosun Tijani a business man before being appointed as minister, he applied for a Chinese visa, after all his business documents he was asked to bring back a police report, you could feel the shock in his voice as he narrates the situation. Just to mentioned a few countries where Nigerians will not be allowed entry, Ethiopia, Dubai, Malaysia Singapore South Africa, some Caribbean countries and many more. Just because of Nigerians track record. Now Ghanaians have stopped renting houses to Nigerians, is not easy for a Nigerian to rent apartments in Ghana now, please Nigerians do something for all the horrible things you are doing in Ghana. Some airlines should be blacklisted from Nigeria Turkish airline, Egypt airline, Morocco airline, Ethiopian airlines. The worst among them is Egypt airlines, they're terrible racists, Wicked and narcissistic.

Egyptian authorities in the Cairo international airport should be careful.It almost happen like this to me in about 2014 I had translated around 7 times at that airport, I stood my ground , I had a foreign passport. You can never travel out of Nigeria with expired passport. Those of you are the reasons Nigeria is not given due respect. Even if she popular,she should know that she has to get new passport. Yes Yes yes some airlines treats Africans especially Nigerians very badly . I stopped travelling British Airways over ten years ago because of this. However, we only have one side of the story, The gentleman has been going on about this for over a week . I believe it was a "do you know who I am" situation, The gentleman is Rev Dr Israel--------, The senior pastor of Shepherds Hill Baptist (not an ordinary pastor mind you) The CEO of oasis International. A private ,Pilgrimage company, The president of Christian Tourism Association of Nigeria. He has a PhD etc etc (so do I got mine here in England in 1988). Oh I forgot that he told us that he was travelling Business class and the other pilgrims were "my pilgrims". Did you pay their fares or because they travelled Economy made them less important? In a nutshell, travelling with a Nigerian passport was not the issue. It was your arrogance and self -importance that probably got up the nose of the officials. Rev try and learn to be humble.. A Nigerian lady with three small children was stopped from travelling from Lagos to London recently because she dared argue with a lady at the check in desk and not only that, she was informed that she cannot get a sit for two weeks. We begged I was on my knees begging on the ladies behalf but to no avail .That was one Nigerian to another. .Beat that! Rev I am much older than you so will suggest you give it a rest.
