Love the sinner and hate the sin makes sense, we are all sinners and its not up for us to judge. For example being a bigot is sinful, yet i dont hate that person, its important to love everyone. I could not stand Christianity at one point because I couldnt understand why so many Christians have bigoted beliefs yet in the bible it says in the bible to " love thy neighbor". Then I realized that I am judging that hateful person just like that bigot judges others and casting all Christians under one brush.

The fact that some religious people do accept lgbtqa+ makes me hopeful for more acceptance in the future. However the fact that there are more and more blurred lines between politics and religion is quite scary. As I grew up they used to talk about the separation of church and state and upholding that. but as conservatives get more and more extreme that doesn’t seem to exist anymore.

it’s an umbrella term to include all identities, instead of just saying “i’m gay”. just another alternative word you can use! if you’re not queer, i would recommend not using it though.

Nina West always creeped me out but I had no justification for my feelings.
Then I found out that they have a foot fetish which they incorporated into their drag performance.

In any other context, this would be easily recognised as coercion and peer pressure.

I do not consider homosexuality a sin. I think it is fine. The Pride stuff is an issue, since pushing this on kids' TV shows means that children are exposed to something that they may end up googling.
Fetishism, nudity and hypersexualisation are standard at Pride events. It would also be inappropriate for children to be Googling Nina West.

I mean I can see what you're saying however its a big stretch for a kid to see the song, google Nina West, and somehow find the obscure controversial moments you are talking about.
Simply googling Nina West does not bring up any inappropriate images, videos, links, or articles, you would have to specifically search "Nina West controversy" to find anything about that, and even then its quite difficult to find the source material or anything actually explicit, youll mainly find people simply speaking about the topic.
You could make a point that companies should not support influencers who are controversial or predatory, since we don't want to give them a platform to do further harm; But suggesting that kids would see that song and somehow find anything about her foot fetish or controversy is ridiculous and you know that lmao
