Looks like a great day out. Lovely vintage vehicles and they all look so immaculate 🤩. And travelling on the top deck of an open top bus is just the best. I once got an open top bus all the way from Porthmadog to Bangor (I think) and it was awesome 😎. Thank you Matilda and Mum 🥰

What a great video, it brought back memories of when I used to drive similar busses to those many years ago. In the winter the cab was very cold and the steering very heavy, no power steering in those days but driving those buses was the best job I ever had

I've been on the old Lytham St Annes single decker before. That body is experimentally made out of metal, becsuse it's from the 1930s, most buses were made out of wood. Love the Blackpool Open Topper which looks quite younger than the rest of them, but a great way to spend a day flying along the coast on the top deck

Among other things, it confirmed my memory that the Ribble buses that ran through the village in Yorkshire,where I lived during WW11, were actually that lovely dark red or maroon colour! I had begun to doubt my memory, having only seen different liveries in books recently.

What a great event. A shame we couldn't make it but enjoyed seeing the J Fishwick & Sons and the Ribble buses that both of us travelled on in the 60s and 70s. Hope you can now tell the difference between a bus and a coach 😂😂 Well done for a wonderful video full of nostalgia 😊😊

Amazing selection there Matilda, and full credit to the enthusiasts who keep them in such excellent condition. Our school bus, around 60 years ago, was used in the morning to transport coal miners, and then for us kids to go to school. If you slapped the seats a cloud of coal dust would come up 😂. Bob M.
