In my latest woodworking project, watch as I make a mobile work station - complete with cabinets. This woodworking project’s simple yet functional design, along with the ease of the mobility of the work station, definitely helps to keep the workshop organized - enjoy!

I liked the detail of letting the drawer sides run past the back to allow the drawer to be pulled out completely without worrying about it tipping.
Love the grain on the drawer fronts.
Brian S same
You sir are amazing!! You draw lines straighter with your finger than I can with a straight edge. How can anyone give this a thumbs down???
Thanks Cliff!
How can anyone give this a thumbs down??? I D 1 0 T errors. they are just people tank really cannot understand most anything. Those lines and panel handling on the table saw are amazing.
Classy like all of your builds, classy all the way.
I love how you buzzed right through this project on your video. Not too much talk. Very intriguing and motivating. Thank you
Thanks Robert!
When Jon Peters' shop furniture is nicer than your actual furniture...😜
😂 that’s what my wife said to me 👍
Such a cool look with those drawer fronts!
great work, and that grain pattern in the front of the drawers is beautiful
I'm starting a kitchen cabinets build and I hope they are half this good. Awesome job Jon.
What a great addition to your shop! Definitely an inspiration to make mine more functional!
Looks great! The grain across the drawer fronts is a really nice touch.
another fine project by a true artisan. wish I had your talent.
Great video. Instead of using hot glue to reinforce the drawers, I put thickened epoxy in a plastic bag and shoot it into the corner between the bottom and side of the drawer, and then a large stir stick to make the fillet. It is actually strong enough to hold the drawer together on its own.
As always, great video. What impresses me most is handling 4x8 3/4 sheets on the table saw. I need more practice ;-)
Thanks Gary. Definitely a bit of a dance in a small shop like mine. 👍😄
Finally a shop project that reminds me of either watching or building cabinets in my Dad's shop growing up. Too many maker videos just scream Rockler and Kreg ads, thanks for the video. Now I need to go build it for my own shop.
👍👍 thanks
Great build! Thanks for posting!
Wow! This looks amazing. Awesome job Jon.
Sweet project. Thanks for sharing.
Well done video, Jon, the cabinet looks fantastic.
This is such an awesome build! Love the continuous grain in the fronts and the pulls! I love how you use wood for drawer slides too. I think people don’t truly understand what a money saver that can be especially on shop furniture. Keep up the great work!
Thanks Mike!
I agree with the wood grain flowing across the drawer fronts is a very good attention to detail.
I didn't realize what the post it notes numbered 1-9 was for initially.
Very clever
Man, your videos are satisfying to watch! that sure was a nice piece of plywood!
Great Job Mr. "J"
I always learn something new when I watch you. Oh yeah, someone’s at your door.
Nice work, You are the master of wood John.
The counter sink and pilot drill bit? Where do you get that bit?
so satisfying to hear it!
Cool. Thanks man!
Dang Bud, you for real make it look so simple. The drawer faces came out Dope!! Nice detail. Keep da builds comin Bud!! Hoping all is well, Dirty Jersey out!!
Beautiful work, I love all your work
¡Un placer verlo trabajar maestro!
This is a great mobile work bench.
Gran proyecto, gran video, una verdadera inspiración para principiantes en la carpintería como yo. Saludos desde Osorno-Chile.
Another master class Jon 👍🏻
Excellent
First class job Jon, have a nice day !!!
Beautiful drawer faces.
Perfect...
This has to be the best build video I’ve watched in months. Great job. 👍🏼👍🏼. It’s getting me motivated to get back in the shop ASAP. Or. Whenever this freezing winter let’s up.
I put a furnace and air conditioner in my garage. that's how I get around that! (retired hvac contractor)😆
Well. Yeah. That’s my next project. Running natural gas out to the shop.
@@Fleenoreric do it. you won't regret it. I love having heat and ac in my garage. costs about 2 bucks a day to run it, when you're out there.
Fantastic build!
Excelente trabajo.. 👍🏼👍🏼
Now that plywood looks a lot more like Jon Peters-nice---
As always jon ..... great work ... great video
Very nice ! You make it look so easy ....
Very nice job. I always enjoy watching your build videos 👍🏽
Thanks Martin!
real nice work john
Amazing job as usual
I guess I'm at the stage now when I need to buy a larger ( 10 inch, maybe ) table saw. This is essential to good wood working project I would imagine. Now the search begins!
👍
Súper interesante! Saludos Peter!
Excelent your work Sr. Congrats.
I am going to use it as an example❗️✨
Muito bom trabalho. Excelente
Very good!!!!!!!!
Great sir.
Very Nice
Jon you just "one upped" Norm on this one. Too nice for a workshop. LOL! Looks like all cabinet grade plywood. Techniques are all suitable for kitchen cabinets if people think about it. Very nicely done! sir!
Good idea and job
Really nice
beau travail du bois ,,,,!
Great looking piece! The only thing I would change would be to put a solid wood frame around the top. The edge banding is just not to stand up to shop use.
Thanks Tom, I was thinking the same thing... will see how it holds up and if I have to I’ll band the edge with solid wood.
Wow! Nice work...
Thanks Martin!
Your happy .... Hell I'm happy with the way this project turned out !!! But why wouldn't it Jon ... You make it look easy and you do such precise work ! Love all your stuff bud .... You are easily one of my favorites on CZcams ... Hands down ! :-) Dennis
Thanks Dennis!

Jon Peters how old is that Kreg jig? I love that
Dewalt tools next time? ;-)
Great project build as always. - Also does anyone else feel like he should be driving a space ship with a six shooter on his side?
Nice Firefly reference, and I couldn't agree more. Also love the way Jon Peters handles a sing sheet of plywood like a beast!
To be honest I started watching his channel because I thought that was the actor from FireFly! LOL Then I found out he is just a master of wood! Subscribed right after watching a few. :)
I was in a kitchen showroom today and one of the displays had a large island with the twin of your drawer fronts, I'm still sore from when I fell when the guy told me the price :) great looking work station Jon
What is it about your videos that make them so relaxing to watch? Every miter cut is perfect, every pencil mark is precise, and every pass with the router is just amazing to watch! If you happen to read this though, I'm curious why you went with wood on wood slides as opposed to metal drawer slides? Thanks for another great video Jon!
Sfyre2 he believe he said it on Instagram, it’s to keep the cost down
@@michalduchnowski9242 thanks Michael, I assume that's what the reason is. But I think a stack of 10 slides are less than $60 on eBay, but wood slides are great too and you can't beat the simplicity
Jon, that is way too pretty to put power tools on. Excellent job!
Thanks Ed!
Very nice. Expensive, but nice.
Another great build. This shop cabinet looks like it belongs in my dining room 😂. Tonight I shall watch the 8 individual maker mob vids for this build
Nice job bud!
Thanks Ian!
Great video as always Jon. When I watch your videos I think of that Janet Jackson song from way back 'You Know You Want This' :)
Thanks for the video and for having the guts to put up a medium length video. I haven’t seen the hot glue in the drawers before. Is that to keep the drawer bottoms from rattling?
Thanks Jason, it’s something I was taught years ago and still do. It does prevent rattling and I think adds a bit of strength.
Looked like a ton of work but the result was worth it!
Thanks, yes definitely took a while but great addition to the shop.
damn, those front drawer covers looks like a marble.
Thanks man! Very cool piece of plywood 👍
Coming from an aircraft manufacturing background, I have never understood woodworking C/S their hole so deep.. I understand if your using contrasting color plugs
Great video! Though I must admit I miss your commentary and tips while doing your builds.
Amazing sir, I love it how you make that furniture. Did you see my molding on Facebook? I also I am a carpenter
Another great build. I love how you laid out the draw fronts on the full sheet. I have a question... I noticed and the end of the video, the door handle (knob) on the door looked weird, never seen one of those before, what is it called ??
The barn door? That’s the Soss Ultralatch. I do some work for Soss and I put the ultra latch on the door last year. It’s really convenient and makes getting into the shop with your hands full of Lumber a breeze
What happened to that nice new shiny walnut tablesaw handle ;) must have mad this video a few weeks ago.haha station looks good Jon!
Thanks Joe, yes I finish the cabinet about a week but not the editing 👍
Great build! Ditto on the drawer fronts!
Why the hot glue on the drawer bottoms?
Just a little extra
Beautiful work! Beautiful cabinet! Need to build a lathe stand myself.
Q: How do you like the Delta drill press seen in the video? Is it older, or recently manufactured? Thinking of downsizing to a benchtop drill press.
Thanks,, works pretty good… all you really need for a small shop
Terrific build. Coupla things: Why do you leave so much space a the back of the drawers? Also, nice method for trimming the plugs! I have never seen that before.
Without the added material in the back the drawers would simply fall out (if completely opened).
Thomas Schreib I was referring to how far from the back of the drawer box he placed the back board. The box extends well beyond the back panel.
👍
Great video, what plywood is the door faces made of?
No stops in the drawers? I'd be very concerned I'd pull one all the way out onto the floor.
I'm going to build something like that only bigger to function as an outfeed table for my table saw, an assembly table, and something I can use to pull sheet goods out of my truck onto and wheel around. I also need a whole bunch of additional storage.
Ok John, That drill bit is a must have. what is it called and where to get it?
Love it, Jon. How did you decide the placement of the tools on top? Usage or something else?
Thanks Sean, I set them up First on my outfeed table to make sure they would all be usable and then Designed the cabinet around them
is there any reason you have filled the front frame with screws and plugs instead of hiding them by using pocket holes? Thanks
Awesome video and build ...... but why am I so bothered with how deep you countersink those screws? I feel like some are so deep that the go straight through the plywood ..... lol.
What is that plywood you used in the fronts with the fingering running through it?
What would you suggest to put on the wood slides to let them glide smooth?
Candlewax
What make and model number is your chop saw? BTW, dig your channel.
Why do you a table saw sled instead of your mire saw to cut the plywood to length?
Hi
How long is your cross cut sled
Do you have a video on that?
About 60 “ I do have a video on the channel on how to build it.
As I watch more videos with drawers I notice that the backs are often placed more forward that they could be, is that so that you don't have to reach so deep into the drawer to get things at the back?
Yes and also so the drawer doesn’t fall out of the cabinet.
Jon Peters that makes sense now that I think of the fact that you’re not using drawer slides.
What are the dimensions of your cross cut sled?
Is that grex cordless 23 or 18 gauge. N how u like it?
Will u be reviewing it
hi, Jon, how's it going? I'm sorry I have not been so well and I have not been able to follow the channel.👍💯💯👏👏👏👏👏👏❤️
Thanks Giovanni, I’m sorry to hear that I hope you feel better soon.
thank you.❤️

That’s it Toby, it’s for my dust collection... I’m planning a Shop tour in a few weeks and that’s something I’ll point out.
Sir, can you provide me the measurement of this projet. I am from India
