I had one of these when I was a kid I was trying to see if I could order my mum one for Christmas this year as a playful gesture but I honestly didn’t realise how much of a collectors item it’s become so now my plan is to search my mums house for the broken one fix it up and sell it to a collector 😂😂 it was my favourite decoration though to be fair
I have a white trim that I've owned for almost a year now and he has never worked on batteries due to horrible corrosion. I recently have found that after replacing the battery pieces the wire connected to the volt adapter came off but forever i had thought it came off on the board. But once i replaced it the hat light had one of the wires tear off the board but i never did anything about it since i had tried to find out where it went with no luck. But the same day I believe i hooked him up on a 6V 2AMP which i have been using for a long time. And i tried it with batteries and nothing. So now he has been given a new base because the old one snapped after it fell but after every other thing on it besides the hat arm has been in a wave of not working to working. I may send it to you if you are not busy with anything else. I will pay what you think it would cost to fix it. I really would at least like it to be working with batteries. Thank you. And I hope the repairs go well! I am glad you are posting again. You were one of the first gemmy youtubers I started watching! Btw the white trim has been fully repaired and has all mechs working.
Actually never mind i have found the adapter jack is bad and needs replacing! I remembered a video i saw on it and it is the issue that it says it is. So I can get him working soon!
Ok for tips since I am not really good with repairing stuff ( I’m starting to repair) where in the animatronic is there the split gear In the arm right????
cut the ziptie and cut from the back of his head down to about half of his back you'll prob have to cut the end of the glove to get the snowflakes through

I have a red vest snowman and his lights don’t get power from the board. Do you have any idea on what is could be?
I’m not sure it would take some trouble shooting probably a bad component or trace
