- I went on a bookstore crawl! For Independent Bookstore Day, I participated in a book crawl to 5 different stores in Columbus, Ohio. Spoiler: I come away with just 3 books and bragging rights.

I think you should judge books by their covers.
There. I said it.
Why? Because of that wonder you feel when you pick up a book. And the inner conflict when - after you’ve read it - you can’t quite let it go, eeeeven if it doesn’t quite measure up.
Graphic designers like me are hired to inspire those feels!
On my channel we’ll talk about books we decide are shelf-worthy, inside and out, and the ones you should still read anyway :)

Immediately after posting this video, I saw an ad for a Cincinnati book crawl 😂🤔 amnesia. They’re doing their event over 3 days, though, which could be better ✅

I went to The Book Loft when I was in high school or early college with two of my cousins and really liked it, but I wasn't even sure if it was still around until you posted this!
I get being exhausted by the book crawl. I've never done one, but I think I would be worn out at the end of it too. I think it would be more fun if the bookstores were closer to each other (which they don't have much control over) or if there was a shuttle system running you between each of them.
Oh yes, it’s legendary! Those are good ideas - I’m pretty confident transportation is a factor for pub crawls, so they could take a cue from there haha.
