Excited about the Hogs roster and the return of TB! I think they can contend at the top (no doubt Bama looks in the drivers seat right now). It will be a fun year in Bud Walton🐗
Alabama definitely isn’t in the drivers seat. They are good but Arkansas clearly has the better team. If they can put it together will be the only question
TB has no pressure with great players and new coaches that get him squared away he will be great
Looking forward to another year removed from the knee injury. He showed flashes last year, but I'm curious to see if Cal uses his better.
He will come back fresh and re_energized and very dangerous, unlike last season when he was like the rest of the team, flat and disinterested
He wasn’t 100% from his injury, either. Add to that a timidness and fear of getting re-injuried, which affected his flow on court. He just didn’t play with the relaxed, fluid form he did, prior to his injury.

I'll go into a little more depth on Kentucky fans. Your baseball team is good this year and coach won coach of year. What did y'all average in attendance for a very good team. Didn't even sell out regionals, and those hiddeous pink hats. Come on get over the fact we got coach we wanted that y'all wanted gone. It will be settled in November. Hopefully, we can have coach of year in Caliparia. Difference is. We will support our team good or bad. We're not a bunch of spoiled babies.

Butternut squash down or up there sounds like the typical Kentucky fan.... Butternut squash knows Cal can coach but butternut squash also knows that the past four or five years they've been playing with 18 year olds instead of with men and only the teams with men win.
Brazile can be great ....hopefully Cal keeps the drama to a minimum ....if nothing else last year taught hog fans that drama (like devo Davis drama) can help destroy ur basketball team.....especially if u have a coach like mussleman whom puts up with it ....(So to speak)....

Arkansas was up 7-points on Alabama with 1:50 to play (we were hitting our foul shots during this game, too). Then, Devo Devis dribbled down to a spot, where he doesn’t normally shoot. He doesn’t bleed the clock…he doesn’t hold the ball. No, instead, Davis jacked up an ill-advised 3-point shot, and missed badly. The rest was history, Arkansa shave that game to Alabama.
I am happy (in fact, thrilled) to see Davis, and his bad, often forced “on the court” decision making, move on to another school. I appreciate his time at Arkansas.
But, this is my point. I think Arkansas will have two things we did not have last season:
1 - A TEAM on the court (guys playing in rhythm with one another)
2 - Better decision making on the court - a higher “on court” I.Q. level.
Bonus: Given that Muss played T.B. At the wrong position most of last season, I have to a,so say, Arkansas will have better team/position management from the coaching staff, too.
Bonus #2 - Kenny Payne coaching and conditioning Trevon Braille? DAMN!!!

Personally I think everyone got exactly what they wanted, and it seems like Cal evolved his style somewhat and actually put together a very solid roster. I can’t wait so see how everything shakes out this season

Brazile is not that good. Maybe he was the wrench in the cog of the razorbacks last season. He will more of a distraction than any kind of help for the team.
He will be coming off the bench at best.

@@bryanthussung7681 it' not hate. It is simply infuriating to see these talking heads make fun of him and UK just 2 short months ago. And now they act like he is some sort of coaching genius. As if it isn't the same old Cal who struggled with a 80-46 overall record, 11-16 vs ranked opponents (past 5 seasons), historic losses at Rupp, inability to game plan, inability to make in-game adjustments, etc. Oh and 1 tourney win in the past 5 seasons.

@Boo_Jones Lol. You must be right. That good game against Duke makes up for being slow back on defense, hanging around the wing watching someone try to do something on offense the rest of the season. By all means lets bring him back on the principle that he might have one more good game next year...lol. I watched the games and I payed attention to the fact that we would make a run to narrow a lead while he was on the bench and only for the lead to bust wide open when he came back in. And the team as you mentioned was probably a mess because of the drama going on in the locker room that involved him. Sugar coat it if you want, he has shown nothing overall to warrant excitement for him to come back. He was on the team that went to the sweet 16, on the bench hurt. I understand injuries happen, if thats how it is going to be well that factors in too. The bottom line is this, if he plays excellent this year and is a major contribution to our success I will be the first to sing his praises. But all these people acting like this is a for sure boost to the team are just full of ****. Show me, he hasn't since his injury 2 seasons ago. I want a proven player in his place, not a wishful thought.
@@lil2.74 proven player when the portal is down the scraps is crazy if you got 2 million to pay an overrated Coleman Hawkins then let’s get you connect with John Tyson, Brazil was the focal point of last years team and to me that was the issue especially coming back from an ACL, Brazil was top 5 in the NCAA in blocks now he’s actually in a real front court roatation that has true potential we just need him to play his style and not play 40 mins a night and be the best player, let’s be real muss roster last year was the biggest failure he didn’t grab one guard who could keep a HS guard out the paint.

He was injured n didn’t get to work on his game he worked on rehabilitation. All he needs is a one dribble pull up. Two dribble floater. Maybe a post fade when teams switch the pnr. He can spot up in the corner. Roll or pop in the pnr. Plus catch lobs on the slot cut
If Arkansas has a title contending roster then Kentucky has a NBA title contending roster. Screenshot this if you want and come back after Kentucky has a better year.

No, he didn't start over a healthy Mitchell. He started when Mitchell was back but still recovering. Maybe two games, then Mitchell came back.
Hahahaha, he’s merely a practice player for now. You obviously didn’t watch how fucking weak he was last year. Never blocked out, stood around the three point line all the time. 7’2” and tried maybe 4 post moves all year, and they were terrible. Missed at least 4-5 dunks as well.
