Thanks Coach Cal! You were the right man to put life back in UK! God Bless you , your family, and BBN!!
No! Cal had 5 good years and 10 bad years!
I’m honestly happy with our new coach!
He lost his job because he cares more about getting players drafted than winning. Arkansas will find that out before its over with.
He quit; he didn’t lose his job. There's a difference.
He had a lifetime contract... he wasn't fired. He willingly left UK because he did so well that BBN now has unbearably high expectations every year. Kentucky fans are loving their new head coach cause Pope is one of their own. But they will turn on him if they don't win in March, because of what Cal built there.
@BoostFiend_Bud No sir, you're wrong. Cal inadvertently admits right here in this interview that he violated his contract by meeting with the Arkansas AD at the final four in Phoenix. That voided the contract and his 35 million dollar buyout. The buyout is the ONLY reason he wasn't fired at the end of the season. Cal screwed himself out of a million dollars a year for the rest of his life as a lifetime ambassador and you honestly think he did it on purpose? No sir. He would love to go back in time and forward tysons call to voicemail!
@@rodneysmith9655 It's not a violation of his contract to talk to an AD about vetting possible candidates. Hunter Yurachek decided to make Calipari tell him "No, I'm happy at Kentucky" but he wasn't happy, so he flew back to tell them he was gonna leave. And Kentucky fans are so happy he's gone, they started following Arkansas basketball...
He still wasn't fired, he left Kentucky because he didn't want to be there anymore, even $35 million guaranteed couldn't keep him around that toxic fanbase.
@@BoostFiend_Bud man. Talk about delusion!
Everything he does is great in his mind. If it goes wrong, it was someone else.
His starting 5’s average age was 20.6 years old
National title not Titles
Love cal, but he could have changed but he wouldn’t even start Reed ( projected top 3 nba draft) or Rob (projected top 10 nba draft)
He had 7 freshmen on roster at UK before leaving.
What happened to the Mercedes opening vid with airplane pilot Dan!?
used car salesman. but good at selling crap
He still salesman. All that players wherever they play they will go to nba . You should win more than that. You have all that talent and you can win. B.S.
Such a liar. He tried to get the Ohio state job in February.
He looks and sounds miserable.
he’s a 🤡
Arkansas had 6,000 people for Cals press conference. Kentucky had 21,000 for Mark popes press conference and had to turn away 5,000 people to Rupp arena. That says it all..Go Big Blue!!!
Big Butthurt Nation can’t get Arkansas out of their mouths. 😂lmao
