One thing about Brandon Garrison is and you have to actually go watch the games he played in, you can't see it in the highlight videos on YT because they just put out scoring highlights, is his passing ability. I seen him make some elite passes in some of the games he played in, and i say the same thing about Amari Williams, so I think it's safe to say pope was recruiting with the idea that his bigs have to be able to pass the rock. Garrison is underrated and will be a star in the league one day.
AA reminds me of Keion Brooks, but with a much better shot.
I’m really excited to see what he brings this season.
I also think we see nine or 10 players get significant playing time. Pope does not like to play people more than 20+ minutes per game. I think we will see a significant rotation and a lot of high octane offense that will wear teams out.
Another thing about all these new players is not only are they older, therefore being physically and mentally more mature as such but, to a man, these cats aren't little bitty skinny dudes we've been made accustomed to seeing on the floor thru out the last few years. We'll hold our own. A summer of eating and weight conditioning will only temper them further along.
I think it'll be a strange sight seeing grown guys in the blue and white. It'll take all of about one season to see it and then it'll be a perennial mix of 5 and 4 star kids mixed in with his transfer kids.
Pope will get his pick of however many stars the kids he wants possesses.
Adding plug n play, thru the portal, players to compliment/ augment departing holes in his roster each year.
Because, Coach Pope, he's fixing to start his own brand of pipelining his players into the NBA like coach Cal did. Cal set a bar that's high, did he not?
In regards to recruiting specifically.
It only behooves us to strive to be worthy of such lofty heights. Seriously.
We all stand on the shoulders of those who've come before us. Together, forward we go. New heights to ascend.
New bars to get set.

It's refreshing to see grown men instead of children enrolling at UK. Some of the kids grew to become men, but sometimes not until the end of the year. Sometimes only after they left school. It's good to finally get away from that dynamic after so long.
I hope Mark Cope can pull this off. So far the season looks to be a dumpster fire. My Kentucky friends are privately very worried and our AD has stated recently that he's already put a contingency plan in place for Coach Copes replacement, should that be an interim or a real coach whose won a tournament game

Man Arkansas fans should be blessed to be in the same sentence as Kentucky and the only reason they are is because Cal Kentucky fans have to stop giving these trolls attention. Tigers pay no mind to Hyenas because they don’t matter you have to stop feeding into them, Kentucky didn’t look good at the dance but Arkansas wasn’t even invited, I’m happy cal went there to make them relevant it’s good for basketball and very good for the SEC there AD needs to thank all of Kentucky for the money they about to make
