Have quite a few of their fixed blades and a few folders. Don’t have a SHPOS folder or fixed. I know many in the know complains that the little extra ends at the ring. Love Andy’s work.
We’ve had some comments about the blade tip coming through the finger ring for sure. However, it’s really awkward to try closing it with your finger still in the finger ring. But it will certainly bite you if you choose to do so. I personally think it’s an amazing piece.
@@sharpthingsokc It certainly is. I don’t forsee them making a SOPHS folder (their P’kal model of the SHPOS), but it would be funny to see. They did just release a deep carry pocket clip for the SHPOS yesterday on their website.
Observation:
It makes you look cool on the loading dock opening boxes or cutting an apple for lunch?
it’s a really cool design, integral and button lock, but the name is what gets me 😅

Although it looks cool. But, Bad design that not effective and not functional. The blade go over the ring which mean the user can not have the finger into the ring and then deploy the knife.
Terrible design with the blade going into the finger hole. Makes opening and closing with your finger in the hole impossible.
it is certainly not for everyone.
