Van Life Solutions 🚐 Cargo Hitch Box: StowAway2 Max

I'm a photojournalist with a micro camper van built to cover hurricanes, severe weather and other disasters and I'm always looking to maximize space in my Promaster City - my temporary Van Life rig.
Because I shelter in parking garages I need to keep the vehicle profile as low as possible, so I went with the StowAway2 Max Cargo hitch box. Here's a demonstration.

Do you take a gas generator with you for hurricane coverage? I've never covered a hurricane on the coast. I've covered a few inland in the communities where I've worked. Thanks for the info.
