Good video and review. I went to both websites given in description. No price or helpful information on those websites, just a short description and a picture. How do they expect to sell any with not informational support on the webpages? I learn more from this review than anything on website and no pricing information. Lost opportunities and sales.

I agree, their website is lacking. I had to email them several times to get any information. In 2022, the pricing Model 01-80-0110 multi-purpose chest with swing out device weights 195 lbs. PRICE $2,678.00 US , not including shipping. I was lucky enough to find a used one.

Is the swing out reversible? It needs to swing to the right in case you are stopped on the side of the road or anywhere that traffic passes (usually on your left) and you need to get in the back of the van. I know those lights have reflector in them, and possibly your van lights are still visible, but I would be adding DOT reflective tape (technically called conspicuity tape) for better visibility.
It is not reversible that I am aware of

At about 2.16 it looks like you added tie down points on the passenger side. Look like 3M Command fasteners.

If it was aluminum...I run a generator inside the box I have. I think it would be too hot for plastic?

There are brake lights and turn signal lights already, I should have mentioned that. The middle bar is not required for use.

Depends on size and if you want 1 or 2 bikes in there. Bought mine used and saved alot. New ones around 2k maybe? You can get a quote by contacting the people in link of the video detail.

It will work on any standard 2” receiver.

Mine didn’t have a lock on the swing. Did yours come with a swing lock?
Yes , the l9ck you see in the video locks the swing. Came with the unit.
Mine has a simple pin and cotter key to keep the pin from coming out. Thanks!
@@travelinginspirations I sent a screen grab to Komo asking about your lock and they said it is not from them. Does it have a brand and/or model number on it? I would guess it must be longer than a standard locking hitch pin.

No mention of how your brake lights, etc. and license plate can be seen from the rear.
The brake lights and blinkers work great! No issues with ezpass reading the license plate in the rear ( none in front)
