Consider comparing your Strong Back to the Costco Mac Sports Heavy Duty Camp Chair $60 when on sale.
Bought two of the Cascade from Costco on sale $33.00 each
Beautiful, inspiring video!
Your videos are really good. Too bad you stopped doing them.
Thanks. Will be back soon with more videos!
Good review
Very nice way to install
Good video!! Thank you!!
Beautiful video! Thanks. I learned a lot. I like the floorplan of the Coachmen Beyond 22RB with the larger bath in the back.
Is that Pam?! You look just like a friend of mine from long ago
Could be...What is your name?
Thank you for the review roundup! I’m in a situation where I need a higher seat height chair that I need to hike with for a mile on a recurring basis with other camping gear, and then need it to allow us to function at a table (hence higher seat height), and these are a lot of the chairs I’m looking at for this purpose. Cheers!
I beg you to make the following tutorial videos: 1. How to properly add fresh water to your Coachmen 2. When and how to refill the LP tank
This is probably the best tutorial on how to properly empty the black and grey tanks. I'm a newbie and it helped me out tremendously
😊
You missed all the Victorian Homes if Bellefonte including many B&Bs.
What are those siren in background. ? I enjoyed your video.
Volunteer fire call sirens
Cascade mountain tech chairs are sold at costco every year for $40, or online 2 for $90 or so. The other version has a cup holder as well.
I didn't see the mattress topper you use listed. Would you please list it. Thanks.
We recommend two of these. Super comfortable. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072BJF9FW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1
How much do they cost? And where do I order it?
In USA email manon@ecarriershelving.com for pricing info
Model 01-80-0110 (what is in the video) multi-purpose chest with swing out device installed on 2” receiver, $3,100.00 US , does not include shipping.
Great info.
This is great info, thank you! One of the reasons I'm leaning toward this model is the bed situation, so good to know about a topper and the airflow. Did you add the curtain bar across the back?
Yes we put a curtain bar there. Works great!
Hello, I live on Long Island and I may be buying a Coachman Beyond very soon, but I don't have a dealer near me. Where did you buy your Beyond in PA?
Bought it in Tennesee actually. There are some good used ones on RVtrader if you are interested in that.
@@travelinginspirations nah, I think that I want to buy new. I want the square sink and the new microwave...for starters.
@@just.bob.j My thinking as well. I would love to see the lithium battery doubled though.
@@kenneths7236 i’m sure sunshine State has that option to double the lithium to like 1200
bob - My comment to you keeps getting deleted. I don't know why.
They definitely DO NOT back up your warranty. I've called them 10 times in 3 weeks because mine ran for 1 day and won't start and they won't contact me. I even had a lawyer contact them for communication and a fefund. Crickets. I tried to find a service center that will fix it and they won't do warranty work with Westinghouse because their customer service sux
What a cute town. Thank you for sharing it.
With all of this cold weather how are the Lithium batteries holding up? Do you keep heat on them when the motor home is not being used?
I shut the battery down when not in use during the winter. No issues. I do not want to keep it plugged in and with heater...just doesn't seem to make sense to me. What if there is a power failure or fire? So batteries hibernate.
This was fascinating.
You can cook and bake in the convection microwave! Of course it is necessary! All you’ll have is one induction cooktop. Good luck with that if you’re looking to cook several things at one time.
Hello thinking of Beyond. Do you have a spare tire Thanks
There is no spare tire, and we did not get one.
@@travelinginspirations Where do you have it Thinking of getting beyond Ford. Did you ever get a flat Thanks
Don't need the shops but need the restaurants !
Love the rating system! You should visit winston salem, the old salem part of town.
We will check it out!
We love our dulovey (sp) matresses and bedding in one roll up!
Tks for sharing your review, very helpful. ? Do you find when driving in windy conditions, or across wide open plains with wind gusts, the van becomes a White knuckle experience to keep it on course? My impressions lead me to consider due to the height and narrow body it could feel like like a sail on a boat.Tks
You would think so given height and width, but it drives really well. Must be the dual wheels in the back. You will get a little bit of rocking if you follow an 18 wheeler too closely at highway speed.
Tks for answering.Glad its been a positive experience.
Great video. I'm new to the Coachman B van. What is your model exactly? I'd like to look it up on the Coachman website. Thanks!
Coachman Beyond C. C is for couch.
my home town the best times was in the 50s
I've devised my own little rating system for evaluating visitors to our town. You didn't make the cut!
😂
It does kind of baffle me that they had those two pillars in the back corner and Coachmen didn't bother to add three-point restraints for at least the outside two rear seating positions. U.S. (and Canadian) RV manufacturers keep getting away with a loophole in the law requiring shoulder belts for car passengers in cars. Even worse are the sideways seating positions like in the 20D. None of these would be legal seating positions in the EU. And I am not picking on Coachmen specifically either. The same is true of most North American motorhome manufacturers. Thanks for the review. I think what she said about travel style is key. If you move a lot, any sort of towable and even larger motorhomes are going to be a tremendous hassle to deal with. I am hopeful that we will start to see some more European-style small class Cs on the U.S. market soon that are about this same length (21'-22') that are almost as parkable as a Class B but offer a little more room inside and some modest outside storage as well.
I really enjoyed your video. Thanks so much for sharing. It was a pleasure to watch and learn!
I’ve watched great videos from other Reps. This guy just isn’t very knowledgeable.
Helinox was the OG company (from Korea) to design and make these light, compact camping chairs. They have a 5 year warranty and use much higher grade (stronger!) aluminium, plastics and fabrics. The other companies (including many other, cheap, Amazon-available no-name brands) are made in China and copied the Helinox concept (some of the companies, illegally!), use cheaper (weaker!) materials, and they have minimal warranties (1 year, if that). The other advantage of the Helinox chairs is that they make a range of modular accessories like sunshades, rocker feet etc that are not available for the other chairs.
the super high price of the Helinox is not worth it.
Helinox is the best, I have the chair and cot and love them both!
Helinox sunset is on sale and I bought it yesterday So about 100 bucks to me its definitely worth it. All the reasons you mentioned is why I went with Helinox especially the DAC poles they use. I will say I tried that cascade mountain at costco and it's pretty damn comfortable.
You might want to visit Corning New York lots of charm and good shops
Thanks for the suggestion 😀
I have visited Corning museum multiple times and I can’t stop! It’s amazing. Also, Bellefonte is my place to go to eat good food 😁
where do you buy one and do they make a black one? I went to their site but not too many details
In Canada komocreation.com/en/coffre/ In USA www.ecarriershelving.com/ if you email them you can get a price quote. I believe only 1 color.
Thanks for the demo, very helpful. Although the mattresses taking up valuable storage space behind the couch is OK for week enders or part timers, but if on the road for longer period of time there is more need for 'stuff' . I agree whomever thinks sleeping on cracks is comfortable must be extremely tired when going to bed, or one of those people who could sleep anywhere on anything.. Again,Thanks.
I agree. We are going on a 2 weeks trip and will see how it goes!
I see so many people traveling with the storage boxes on the back of their Class B vans that allow you to still open the back doors. Have you considered getting one of those for storage? @@travelinginspirations
You could probably use the large furniture dollys from Harbor Freight? Might make it easier for the less skilled or one time deal situation.
Yeah I considered those. I actually first used a couple dolly but broke in half when went up the ramp in garage...wheels got stuck on small bump and whole thing broke. Thus this sturdier cart with larger wheels.
Nice! Now make your kids come back and help! 😂
Hugh that takes a lot of time and effort... Thnx
I really like the features offered in the Beyond, but my primary concern with ANY mainstream RV is build quality and long term reliability. The mainstream RV industry overall is just pathetic when it comes to build quality and given the ever increasing prices of RVs these days, I would be furious if I had my trip ruined by shoddy build quality. A custom build is always an option, but that can get extremely expensive and is not viable for most buyers.
You are so right on that, and that is something I was very concerned with. One big reason we looked at Panoramic. But chassis reliability is important too and could not get past Ram's lower reliability. Build quality has been good with the Beyond. So far no regrets and would purchase again.
@@travelinginspirations That's good to know. I would not purchase any model built on the Promaster either. The Transit is a good choice because of the strong powertrain and massive service center network.
Thank you for listing the sizes and brands of toppers you’re using. I’ve had my Coachmen for 6 months and I find the bed to be very uncomfortable.
Here is the link to the BETTER HABITAT mattress that we show in the second half of the video. www.amazon.com/gp/product/B072BJF9FW/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1

Wow!

Thank you that was very informative we haven't purchased our coachmen 22C yet and this was very helpful
You're welcome!
Funny I watch traveling robert also but as a female traveling solo I definitely want something that I can get up and drive away easily if I'm not comfortable, I don't want to have to get out of something that I'm towing into a car or truck to drive away. It is a safety concern. I had a class C that I loved. But I didn't like the fact that I couldn't just drive in town and park next to a restaurant or store or some little shopping area. So now I'm gonna go for a class b.
It is definitely nice to be able to just drive off quickly if needed. I think you will really enjoy the benefits of the smaller van. And even for the 2 of us, I feel we have plenty of room.
You make good points. Guys have safety worries, too.
