Great instruction. Ii like to hook my little finger over the fence to add to the safety as you were doing on that last pass.

The first saw you showed was the Mighty Mite from Harbor Freight Which we use in our glass studio. We do use a replacement blade so we can cut light metal.

Literally ignore all of this. If you are cutting larger pieces like this you should be a miter gauge slide, if not a dedicated sled. You never want a situation where the wood can get trapped between the blade and the fence. Using a miter slide or sled, it eliminates any chance of wood getting trapped between the fence and blade causing kickback. At 1:23 is especially dangerous because you are forcing the wood into a pinch situation. And at 3:15 you should never free hand this cut. Do what you want in your shop but when you actively put out disinformation it encourages injury

I highly suggest that you take a tour of a cabinet shop some day. And did you like your own comment?

And I would love to see your miter sled that will handle 48" wide boards. Sorry for being a slight a hole, but your literally ignore all of this was such awesomeness

I built cabinets for over 5 years until moving on to better things. But your (small) audience is not for professionals. It's safer to have your waste piece not trapped between the fence and blade, which is the opposite you showed. czcams.com/video/4p0UTVUXh48/video.html is a basic panel sled any newb should know about

There was never a waste piece trapped in between the fence and blade. Nothing in this video was dangerous. Yes it does depend on how comfortable you are with a table saw over all. Yes there are time and places where a sled is more than appropriate but not in this video. When I was new to woodworking, I was taught this method of using the table saw and it helped me tremendously.
