  • Explore the sights and sounds of Alex Bishop's lutherie world as we delve deep into my latest guitar build.
In this video we take a look at my fourth fanned fret guitar, get to grips with the reason for those weird looking fingerboards, and find out how hard they really are to play. See more interesting guitars like this one at:

Great pleasure to meet you for the second time at the recent guitar show - and even to have a play on one of your masterpieces. Boy, did it ring out even to my old ears and above the cacophony of all the electric shredders in the background ! The quality of your work , your knowledge( and your playing ! ) is truly remarkable.

Thanks for your kind words! I enjoy the guitar shows a lot, even if I can’t hear anything the following day 😂

An awesome insight into the guitar you made - the cedar of Lebanon is incredible, but the walnut is a whole new level. I LOVE it! The finish on the guitar once again show why you are the best in the business! Looking forward to future deep dive videos.

What a treat, thank you Alex! I really enjoy your column in 'Guitarist' magazine every month so when I read about your new channel in your latest piece I just had to check it out. So glad I did! Very interesting and informative content from a master luthier, beautiful craftsmanship and instruments to admire and superb musicianship as well.....I love a bit of Gypsy Jazz....well played Alex! I really like your fun, witty and laid back presentation style too, and you make it look like you've been doing videos like this for years (your teaching experience shines through here, for sure.) I've just subscribed and look forward to checking out the rest of your videos very much. I wish you every success with your new channel, it is richly deserved. 🙏👍
