This car is a great starter car or daily driver, but it's not immune to breaking down. In this video, we'll show you how to fix the car and make it into a reliable and affordable ride. 335i and other N54 car owners will find similar scenarios and be able to follow this as a partial DIY instruction video.

Bruh, that same Hose was a f'n headache in my "Cheapest US" N55 build. I'm happy u were able to keep yours the "Cheapest" as mine quickly went to "Most Expensive" *Face palm*

Needed a new Cat, oil pan gasket, and chargepipe.
And valve cove gasket/oil filter housing gasket next!

In hindsight, I highly recommend maintenance first before doing any mods haha.
When I purchased mine, they had just recently completed all the seals/gaskets - but I don’t have details.
So far, so good - but with the age of these cars and the temperatures they reach - everything needs to be replaced multiple times!
Sorry I hold that title from (2019) pricing and it was disgusting... u can see evidence on the channel if you don't believe me

Great content! I have the 128i with the N52 engine and I also have an X1 Xdrive35i (the N55 engine) I work on both and I have to say the N52 is so much easier to work on! I've already upgraded the charge pipe and installed the aluminum intercooler. very tight space to work on the N55. So I feel for you! Take care!

Ooof that’s a big bill! What’s wrong?
@Elliott Brooks started with cracked valve cover then a broken bolt. Then the broken bolt lost in the top part of the engine....lol
So I gave up and and the whole top end is being redone along with new index 12, intercooler, charge pipe, bov, jb4 tune, and an upgraded aluminum valve cover.
@@Sae-yp3ub I just did my index 12s, spark plugs and coils. Check out that video if you haven't already. I have an intercooler and charge pipe video from a while back too. Sorry to hear that all happened to you, but it sounds exciting! Are you going forged internals? or just swapping out the broken parts?
