It’s so cute when Jimin comes on you can see Taemin relax a bit and the pure friendship the two have. After listening to them talk it is easy to see how Taemin and Jimin become close. And Suga does seem a bit thrown by seeing Jimin in a new light with outside friends. 3 Min episode was adorable.
Yes I also thought it became more relaxed when jimin joined but it makes sense ofc, taemin and jimin are so close.❤ i love how jimin wants to keep his friendships to himself haha , reminds me of myself

@@komerican-og - Being that Suga has a problematic shoulder since he had that accident when his scooter hit a car, while working as a delivery boy during trainee yrs, and never even mentioned it, for fear that he’d be disqualified, though ceo PDBang said when he was finally made aware that he should have spoken up, Suga finally only recently during beginning of pandemic, only after MOTS:7 concert 2020 tour was cancelled, and already his shoulder was so aggravated at the time where he couldn’t even lift his arm, he “finally” had surgery to repair it best it could. Actually while watching the choreography for “On”, watching Suga dance a certain part, I cringed, every time I saw it, knowing that it might indeed exasperate his injury, even more. So even with surgery, though he’s indeed now in military, he’ll be relegated to doing more office type work, like more of desk job, where he’s even able to go home, at times I believe. So for him, it’ll be a bit different then other members who have and will be physically trained as well, which as we’ve all known, Jin and JHope have been excelling in, to the point Jin is charge of leading others, as is JHope now. Since these are the kind of ppl they are, both caring, considerate, passionate, will go above and beyond in everything they do! The same will apply to all other members as well! Which is exactly why BTS as a whole have succeeded and should be set apart from most. All will do beyond fine, getting acknowledged for succeeding in highest achievements, and rewarded as such. That’s just who they all are! Not to mention all having such a love, passion, and pride of being Korean, and will serve with pride & dignity! ❤️🔥🙏🫡🥰

❣️Jimin & Taemin have been quite close friends since at least 2016, though all of SHINee noticed Jimin first at MAMA 2014, when watching him do that spectacular Taekwondo flip them ripping off his shirt while doing battle BTS vs BlockB. Then afterwards recalling that while watching Jimin again when he had yet another spectacular most memorable “Perfect Man” performance! Jimin is even part of a quite close group of 6 other idols, started by Taemin, from other groups called the Padding Squad, which consists of other main dancers Taemin & Kai, but also Sungwoon, another of Jimin's closest friends. They even have matching jackets each with the emblem consisting of ea members hand print made into a circle, on a 'padding jacket. Taemin has always admired Jimin’s amazing quality & abilities in dancing, especially since he didn’t come from a background of not only dance., but in so many different styles! Jimin, since age 10, studying & performing hip hop, winning every competition in street dancing. Then studying & performing contemporary & modern dance, but also taking ballet & traditional Korean dance classes as well! Jimin even has managed to incorporate his 8 yrs training in various forms of martial arts including Taekwondo (blackbelt), into his dancing. In 2016 Taemin & Jimin even performed together which they even referred to here, calling themselves the 2 Mins.

I don't think Taemin meant that he doesnt see Shinee evolving in the future. I saw it as him saying he doesn't want to have to define a clear "part 2" for Shinee post military as Suga said BTS is doing. It's just a different way of thinking about their futures. Taemin wants Shinee to remain as a safe and happy space for fans like it always was. He may also not want to define a "new" Shinee that doesnt contain all 5 of them. Shawols will always see them as 5hinee, and they don't want to let go of that or move on. Just my observation :)

I started listening to SHINee and Taemin because of Jimin. He and Taemin are best friends along with Ha Sungwoon, Kai, Timeteo, and Ravi aka the padding squad.

Taemin & Jimin are part of a group of best friends known as “The Padding Squad” because of the big black padded jackets Taemin bought them. The jackets bear an emblem made from each of their hands making a peace sign. Other members are Kai, Ravi from VIXX, Timoteo from HOTSHOT, Wannaone’s Sungwoon, and another non celebrity friend. They hang out & take vacations together. I think I read somewhere that Kai wants them all to get matching shoes lol. When Kai entered the military, Jimin went along to see him off.
I knew Jimin was there when Ha Sungwoon joined the military, but not about Kai. I haven't seen any information about it.

Taemin saying he's influenced by Jimin is so touching and a testament of Jimin's great talent. When the ones you looked up to, end up looking up to YOU, that means you really made it. You became a true star and surpassed everyone.
I think the word inspired is mistranslated as influenced. Taemin is a very humble person, modest in spite of his immense talents and discipline. K-pop idols and professional Broadway class performers look up to Taemin for too many reason, far beyond his dance skill and his underappreciated vocal prowess. But it is understandable how conceited people would try to cheapen him to flatter their favs.
57:25 But they continued. Shinee did not stop. they had a forced break due to military service. After 2017 they had a comeback three times and they have a lot of new fans. They never once said that they were going to stop, even when Onew was unable to perform due to health problems, they continued promoting the album, collected five awards at music shows... performed both in Korea and in other countries... So I I don't think they gave us a reason to be sad. Shinee go Hard!

What I appreciate Taemin is about his thought to change the run down for Jimin in Gayo 2018, if he knew Jimin would perform 3 songs in row.
This shows how Taemin loves Jimin truly as his buddy instead a competitor as kpop idol, he wants Jimin to perform well. This is called friendship!
At that time, I already thought, it was unfair for Jimin, as well as Namjoon's worry that Jimin was so tired when perfoming with Taemin after intensely dancing for 2 songs.

I am in flow dance class, to dance 3 songs in row continuesly, which is about 10 minutes isnt an easy thing, coz needs to maintain the breath and energy, beside to foccuss on the chreo.
@@friede. I thought so too Taemin is very thoughtful I’m sure he would have changed things if he could go back. Taemin has always pushed himself and worked non-stop so I’m sure he can notice when other performers push themselves to the limit.
That part of their personalities probably brought them closer together without knowing.
@@friede. - Jimin & Taemin “2Min Showdown” performance was actually at the very end of 2016, on December 30, at annual KBS Song Festival.
When Taemin was talking about their collaboration stage & how they should have changed the song order because Jimin had to dance three songs back to back, I think he was being very judicious.
There's an infamous fan cam of Taemin & Jimin walking off stage after that performance. Jimin can be seen collapsing immediately after reaching the wing, with Taemin & staff members trying to help him up. Of course, Jimin played it off as him referring to Jimin's pre-performance nerves, but it's fascinating to me that Taemin slipped that in.
Taemin has a friendship group called The Padding Squad. It consists of Taemin, Jimin, Kai (of Exo) Ha Sungwoon, Timoteo and a non-celeb friend. It was very interesting to see Jimin's reaction to SUGA wanting to be friends with Taemin. SUGA is very fond of Jimin but Jimin doesn't think that he'll hit it off with Taemin. Taemin seems to be a very kind person. He is close with his manager and very supportive of his friends. I hope he can be friends with Yoongi too. They share a history of struggle with mental problems. I really appreciate your interpretation of what they are saying. It's good to know how they are using language and that they are so well spoken. SHINee's history is indeed very sad. To lose a member in such a tragic way must have been so difficult for them and it's sad to see Taemin, Minho and Key having to perform without Onew. Let's hope he'll be able to rejoin them soon.

I loved when Jimin came in to be part of it :) It was very cute and funny. It was kinda interesting to see how they handle the conversation between the three and Yoongi pursuing that friendship with Taemin as a 1993er. Btw, BangtanTV just released a teaser that Jungkook will be back for the next episode, which I believe comes out this Saturday, 11/4. Excited for that! The last time JK was there was so fun lol. He’s promoting his album which releases on Friday, 11/3.
Don't worry, SHINee still gets new fans. I stll think they'll make new and exciting music, but Suga has a sentimental mindset now before going, that's why they're talking like this.
Yes! I felt like the past was the focus because they were all in a reminiscing, and sentimental mood. I’m one of those new fans too - I only became a fan of SHINee in 2021!
Suga is officially in the Military, but is currently doing Social Service (which is why you didn’t hear about it- it was quietly done- no hoopla or anything). At some point, he will have to do Basic Training, which I think at that time, we will see a proper ‘sendoff’ (hopefully). We don’t know how many more episodes he has prerecorded, but we do know the next one is with Jungkook (again!!💜), presumably because of JK’s Golden album release this Friday.🙌🏼
Suga has been speaking with RM for the last 10 years. They are both very intelligent guys and RM is very articulate. You can see many ways they have influenced each other. All the members speak about the influence on the group of the Rap line. Jimin on his meet and greet recently spoke and mimicked RM coming and reading through Jimins lyrics on his album Face and saying "hm I think I understand what you were trying to say". Later he described how after RM left they all sat around without speaking and then went on to reworking the whole section. It is never wise to underestimate Suga or RM who has a 148 IQ. It is their influence that lead BTS to all compose and write their own songs, often with RMs( lyrics) and Suga music..BTS perform live. I think the reality is artists will not be able to help themselves. There will always be new work amongst the old. I recently listened to Tom Jones album released in his 80s. It was very different. He sang No Hole In My Head, and Talking Reality Television Blues. To an almost Psychedelic backing track. Similarly Jonny Cashes HURT released just before he died. Great artists cannot help themselves. I love all genre of music. I recognised how creative BTS was straight away. I am sure bar I'll health they will go on being the creative powerhouses they are. Maybe slow down a little. They love creating music.

I really believe it has been so hard for them to let go of jonghyun that they feel if they move on in a different direction that they will feel like he is not with them so it kind of traps them in the past but I believe they somehow let and become a new shinee it is very hard for them he wrote most of there songs so if they move away from they will feel like they left him behind its going to a strong healing to let go but not forget they will always be 5

Not sure if anyone posted this but taemin and jimin have been close for many years. They were part of a friend group which included 3 sungwoon which jimin did a duo with u shoukd know that one. And also kia from exo. The other friend isnt in idol scene. They all had a lot in common from their looks, style, dance gods

59:03 I whole-heartedly agree and BTS members themselves have indicated they plan to continue to grow and develop and show us new colours as individuals & as a team. BUT I also have to giggle bc they are also 7 of THE most sentimental guys I've ever seen, so 1 of the first things that is planned for 2025 is a HYYH 10 year anniversary as it will be the 10 year after the release of trhe album/series that allowed them to break out. RM mentioned it in his first Suchwita ep and BangPD recently mentioned it in a Bloomberg interview he did.
Yes, I want BTS to move forward to guide us to the future, not the past. Don't get me wrong I can reminisce but I want to see and hear new songs and beats and grow with them.
I think it's going to be a wild ride when they regroup. I can't wait!
Part of what's exciting for me is that we genuinely can't predict what they'll create together next, because they don't know either. What stories will they want to tell?
I'm sure they'll give us some songs that connect straight back to the beginning, but I'm just as sure they'll surprise us 😁

Jimin's energy is like a balm, it soothes everyone and makes everything 100 times better. I think Suga went a little too far when teasing Jimin a few times, even Taemin was like "can you let him speak?" I think the atmosphere was really good between Taemin and Jimin, and Suga could have been more mature and not try to knock Jimin down every time.

❣️BTS along with Mamamoo were the only groups at the time coming up as well as now, performing live, as opposed to lip syncing along with backtracks, that even had heavy breathing added to make it sound more like groups were really performing live! Though most artists would have been more then capable to perform live. 😅 Someone behind the scenes way back, even snuck a photo of the sheet listing all the performers in order along with who would sing live, with just background backtrack, and sure enough it was BTS, as well as Mamamoo being the only other.that also sang live. It’s just that some group’s companies, I believe, invested so much money into their groups that for most big events like award shows, they didn’t want to take the chance. BIGBANG, from older generation, also always performed live which so obviously showed. I believe though, that after BTS became huge, looked up to & admired. More & more Kpop artists tried to sing live during broadcasts as well. But defiantly not all. Groups that lip sync, to me aren’t as exciting to watch, because you don’t get to hear the passion & emotion in their voice, as well as hitting their high notes, when live is just different! Plus someone like Jimin always changes up his vocals during performances, and as RM has said, one never knows what to expect! Sometimes he’ll go to lower registry instead, and or use more of his raspier growl voice. Or hit that high note even longer. Since BTS always performed so flawlessly, doing vocals while dancing such strenuous choreography, Suga many times would pause and stop his rap, just to show there was no backtrack. Though all groups, especially while dancing have backtracks, but rarely do most do vocals real time on their own like BTS, from their generation. Matter of fact BTS are not really good at lip syncing. So usually don’t even try to pretend to sing at those certain parts when dancing is most strenuous. Jimin actually did the same when he recently performed “Set Me Free Pt.2” live. I’d love for you to react to that performance from Inkigayo, which is the safest to react to.
