They seem knowing eachother more than other past seasons but we r lacking huge things in terms of finishing from Martinelli, jesus, saka and odeegard none knows how to shoot outside the box or knows how to curve ball incase opponents are full in their box. We waste a lot of chances

It is no surprise that Arsenal are topping the league table. They are truly a brilliant mesmerizing team. So brilliant and irresistible i can only imagine what a nightmare it is for their opponents when they try to defend against their irresistible attacking power. What I love about Artetaball is that the solid passing is the foundation that allows the players to be unpredictable and creative. Love to watch players getting forward with confidence and not be afraid to add something new to the their game. Heâs injected the team with passion and tactical clarity

The system, tactics and pattern of play is there. But the players can still be upgraded.
We only have 2 ballers in the squad (Jesus and Zinchenko), (players who are as skillful as Sanchez, Cazorla, Nasri, Hleb, Van Persie...).
(Martinelli, Odegaard, Vieira are a level lower, and Saka, Smith-Rowe are another level lower in terms of technical abilities)
Partey is not as technical as Busquets. Xhaka is not as skillful as de Bruyne.....
We are still a long way to go to become a top team.
If you look at how City a few years back, and how pepâs Barcelona pass the ball, you can see the difference of how they play and how we play. They have a lot more control and they have more magic in their play.

@@rimanshumukherjee4637 Spurs will have to come out of thier defensive shell and play at some point. It is fair enough tactically having so many players behind the ball. But at some point you got to get up the field and play your football especially when you are losing. They play how George Graham use to play tactically.

Xhaka could easily have had extra 5 assists and 4 goals from this compilation. He's that good this season.

We haven't looked this good since the season Eduardo broke his leg. We played some amazing football that season. Went all the way to the later stages of the champs league, and were leading the PL for the majority of the season

Ozil could only play counter attack. He hates possession. He thinks making one more pass is unnecessary. He hates to build up.
The only technical players we had after 2012 were Cazorla, Sanchez, and maybe Gnabry.

Ozil doesnât even want to touch the ball more. He doesnât do tiki taka passes in the build up..
Ozil loves to be efficient, to get the ball forward with the least amount of passes. He loves to be direct.
No one has ever criticised Silva, Eriksen, Iniesta, Modric to be lazy despite they do very minimal defensive work.
But why people only feel Ozil was very lazy, but not the ones Iâve mentioned? Because Ozil doesnât even like to keep high amount of possession, he only appears when a final pass is needed. The slow build up and everything else in between? He doesnât care.
A possession loving baller will never be invisible in a match despite doing minimal defensive work. Because he will always offering passing options for his teammates. He will build up patiently.
Ozil was totally invisible in many matches.
People refer that he is technical on how he passes the ball/how he strikes the ball.
But Cazorlaâs close control/ball retention abilities are levels above. Sanchez has a lot of skill moves in him, Ozil has none to dribble past his player. To me, these attributes together with possession loving mindset is what make a player technical. And Ozil is very poor in these.

Been watching arsenal since 2006/2007. Haven't been enjoying watching my team play like this for so, so long. There were some really good periods but this team has got me all excited.
I love how Arsenal are playing and I am very happy with this team and the way they play.
My only complaint is that I want to see them be more clinical in the box. The love that us Arsenal fans are showing them they just keep showing us love by the way they are playing couldn't be more happier to be a gunner right now

It's actually a bit weird now to think back to the beginning of last season's campaign. Arsenal have had a very different start this time around, can wait to see them play like this in the champions league next season.

By far the most attractive football to watch in the EPL. City play a slower paced game that's a lot more methodical.

I think something overlooked in this arsenal squad is intelligence. Most football clubs go after talented players, naturally gifted skillful playersâŠit looks like Arteta went for players who are both disciplined and intelligent. The entire squad has synergy with intelligence.
Their defenders are smart and calm, white and zinchenco drift in weird ways that seems organised but makes it chaotic for the opponents midfield and this seems to allow xhaka to just roam around anywhere and this guy is literally everywhereâŠ.Iâd love to see the stats for how much he runs in a game. Both wingers terrify the opponents and finally arsenal have two wingers with the balls to take on defenders. Even if Saka doesnât get a goal or have an attempt, just him out wide draws out the defence leaving room open for Jesus. Jesus is an all round beast, he does everything. People under value what he does outside of scoring that has lead to arsenal being top of the league. When heâs not scoring, he defends. His vigor means the opponents cbâs and defensive mids canât feel safe with their backs to him so they make rushed passes and turn over. Partey is the heart of this team, the connection. He breaks lines with passes and can seemingly get out of any situation. Odegard is ozil without the laziness. An under estimated player though is tomeasu who I think is so pivotal. He shuts down absolutely anyone heâs on and his endurance is epic. This is the most balance squad arsenal have had since the invincibles. Amazing
The fascinating thing about this team is that they haven't even entered their prime. About 75-85% of clear cut chances were missed from minute 1 to 7, when this team gets into their 2nd gear, every other team will sit back and defend for a while in a match against them. Very fluid. What a compilation. Whenever I get bored I just watch this video.
I remember in 2018/19 we went 15 away games without a clean sheet before we beat 10-man Watford 1-0 in April 2019. Now weâve played 4 away games and kept 3 clean sheets.

Yes, Arsenal can beat ANY TEAM, on any given day, but being able to consistently produce positive results over long periods of months and years is the ultimate challenge that the club has faced. It requires tremendous tactical scrutiny and a range of players to rotate throughout the squad to see it all thru. Many are currently praising Arteta for the positive results we see currently and the way the team has been playing, but Arsenal was playing this way long before Arteta was even a Toffee. Can Arteta manage to keep the positive chemistry flowing over the entire season and actually secure a title more prestigious than an FA Cup, is the true test...

Great video as always. It highlights how every player in the 16-17 first team pool is technically proficient, comfortable on the ball and well drilled to play this way. We can therefore win games without great individual performances, which bodes well for the season. It does however also highlight how many chances we miss...!
