- Deadly! Slime-covered! Umber hulks and a Gelatinous Cube for good measure! Will the heroes even find the exit, much less live to flee? This room isn't my cleverest, but daaaaamn!
THANKS FOR TUNING IN!

I'm always wracking my brain for creative types of monster spawners
I've spent 3 years trying to find my favorite dnd channel on youtube and I finally found it!
Inspirational stuff there. Your players are lucky to have you as their DM. I'm jelly!
One of my favorite videos youve made
Thank you, Matt!
I can't believe I've GM'ed for all this time and it never occurred to me to use constantly spawning monsters...
+Stratplayer05 I've caught myself saying this to several of my discoveries throughout his channel. I've forgotten how awesome it is to experience other DM's secrets, and play styles.
I was raised into this circle by some twistedly secretive masters. :(
You have a ninja!, Cool ,Man, i think that there are just one by all the editions! I am gonna open boosters and try to find one too!
I must say thanks good sir. This is enriching my GM-ing, and making the worlds I use better for my group.
Great to hear, Tech! That's our goal here: cooler shit for urrybody!
Oh man. I made a flowstone themed deck for MtG when I was in middle school. I had a bunch of first strike enchantments and I'd spend mana to activate the flowstone if they got blocked or not for +1/-1 until my dude was maxed out on the front end. You should look up the Laccolith cards. They explode/bleed fire and lava and deal damage to a target other than the one they attacked so attack the lowest AC and hurt the fighter.
Always a pleasure to see another video, Hankerin
Oh...I just learned that you named the goat Rocket, not Polka Dot. Well, I am glad he has a name, at least. Goats are people too. 5:35 NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!... 7:08 YAAAAAAAAAAAY! We win!!!!! ... I would have given them all the XP for the Umber Hulks (but not the puddings) just for getting out alive. I don't think you always have to kill stuff for experience, and I don't think that killing stuff should always result in experience points.
Question for you, DM: You said your players were level 3/4, but you said they could handle 2 Umber hulks + 1 Cube and minions. How did they survive?
These videos are just incredible. We all appreciate the time you took to make them!
players can get so scrappy, so elusive, i think their ability to take on high CR's is often waaaay under estimated
@@Runehammer1 Word. I threw a spectator at my first level party as a bossfight, and it was even able to bring minions into the fight if needed. But through careful planning and excellent use of abilities and ressources, my players prevailed against it - way sooner than I had expected, even. I had to come up with an additional challenge on the spot to keep the boss encounter from becoming anticlimactic.
These videos are great! keep them up boss!
drinking Innis & Gunn to your videos tonight...watch a match Scottish beer makes with your videos, seriously. Skoll!
Kickass!
I keep seeing that goat. What's the story with that? If the exit is hidden how did they enter?
he was a member of our group!!
LOVE THE PUNISHER SHIRT
How often do you have a player death? Thanks
not very! I think 3 or 4 in the past year
Hey Hankerin, what was the name of the foam you used to create the flowstone?
were65were I think its called "great stuff" lol.
It is indeed, thanks. Great videos keep it up, I am just starting with D&D but I love watching your creative process, I've been binge watching your videos between yesterday and today
Ha! Huzzah!
+were65were Flowfoam.
"Great stuff"
Was it me or was the audio off?
it was you
Just to make sure, you may want to review your videos before & after you upload to CZcams. Great videos & setups, BTW.
