Camelot had crowd surfing in a rowdy club and somehow this ends up being the most dangerous video. Great song and nice brass section, fits the park in my mind for some reason!

Saw them open for X at Rev hall in Portland in December. It was the two women doing an acoustic set. It was incredible and touching, I had never hear of them before. They are coming back to Portland in March and I cannot wait to hear the full band with electric instruments. See you guys at Mano Oculta!

My initial first listen and review of the Skating Polly CD as written on this day, June 27th, in the year of our lord, 2023:
"Baby on my Birthday" is the greatest opening track ever, as it slides easily in without any sudden bangs or loud noises, until it literally gets to the death metal part of the song.
"Masquerade" is fantastic, right now, one of my favorite Polly songs of all time.
"Hickey King" - loved this song months ago when the single dropped, fits in nicely as the 3rd track.
"Girls Night" has a wonderfully melancholy vibe and reminds me of "New Trick" era Polly.
"All the Choices" - OMG, this is a straight up Peyton joint, and one of my favorites that she ever wrote.
."Booster Seat" and "Hush Now" at this point ran past me quick, because my brain was just in a haze at how unbelievable great this record happens to be!!
"Rabbit Food" is just a straight up rocker, classic Skating Polly vibe and sound.
"Tiger at the Drugstore" - WOW, this song, they literally managed to recapture that playful magic that was slightly lost on the last record, video and song are just absolutely brilliant.
"Singalong" - kicks a$$.
...and swear she brought back the Basitar. :P
"Someone like a Friend" is right up there on par with "Gravity" and "Too Late" - fantastic piano.
"Double Decker" - really had no intention of liking this song, really really wanted to have ONE SONG that I could peg as filler, but nope, it rocks!!
"Charlie's Brother" - this is the point where it dawns on you that this is an 18 track record and this track is reminiscent of "Blackbird" from the White Album, my all time favorite Beatles song.
"Send a Priest" and "I'm Sorry for Always Apologizing" have been kicking around CZcams for awhile, and both are still phenomenal.
"Not Going Back Again" would have fit nicely on "Taking Over the World" - LOVED IT!!
"Man Out There" with David Yow kicks in hard and wakes you up and reminds you "Oh no, the record is almost over, and that makes me sad and angry!!"
"Party House" -- the last song, and Jesus, this album could be the "Wall" from Pink Floyd...
...and Skating Polly need a Grammy.
Great review. I think the White Album is a great comparison. It had everything from Julia to Back in the USSR to Helter Skelter. The band I think Polly is emulating the most in the way they present themselves is The Beatles. Maybe Nirvana too. Serious but not afraid to be silly and just radiate love and good vibes.
