Thanks for showing this old, unrestored beauty. Chrysler was only months away from building the last of this once great brand. I was sorry to see it end. I also enjoyed and recognized the Historic Rt. 66 scenery.
🎵 It's Delightful 🎶It's Delovely 🎵It's DESOTO 🎶. What a fantastic find. Even in this condition, it's the last full year for DeSoto. 😢 This and final (3,200) 61s were a grand finale of Exners fabulous finned fantasies for Chrysler!
LOVED seeing the Pop's shirt! Been there a handful of times in my life. Good to see all the pieces coming together when it comes to saving and preserving American history!
Very much an "oddball" in its own way and a neat take on a stylish car for the new beginning era!. Too bad very small amounts of people actually like them enough these days to own one! My dream car is a 1956-57 Nash/Hudson car. Actually a '56 Hudson hornet custom. The fact that so few of these were built and they still exist you can't just really go and buy it without *some* research first, like an example. Drivetrain parts?, Brakes, Suspension, etc... If not that's a WHOLE other ballpark if you can't find anything. That's why i did a good amount of research for my dream car and joined a few specific groups also talking to owners. What to look for and such, Mind you I'm only 23. But I've been wanting one since 17 or so. Thanks for sharing the video with us!
I can't stand looking at a car for sale and the owner rambles on and on and on.....I want quiet so I can think and look the car over....then ask questions..........very cool car.
You have to use an external microphone for decent audio. The camera mic just doesn't give clear audio when the camera is any distance from the subject. Love the subject matter, however.
