If you ever come to Boston, there is an abandoned TV station on Morrissey Blvd that's been abandoned for at least 10 years that no one has ever filmed in. I'd love to see you do that.
It's was WLVI-TV channel 56. I believe it was a WB station before it ended. It was a major staple here in Boston for years. And no ones ever done a video in there.

I worked at that Vocellis/Pizza Outlet back in the day and the Runners Cleaners was a dry cleaners and the owner used to yell at our drivers if they parked too close to his store front. :)

So we are tearing that down right now. It's about half way gone.
Once upon a time someone had confidence in the future and trusted their financial instinct when they invested their money. Now he/she/they are probably gone, maybe broke, possibly homeless, destitute and without much hope = here today, gone tomorrow, forgotten. It makes you shake your head...pretty depressing.
Bell school moved to Wexford. I looked it up.
I remember a shopping center where I live that closed back in 2013 and they made it into a Walmart Neighborhood Market

If you go behind this building and find the trail, it will take you to an abandoned homestead. The home is completely collapsed, but evidence of the old water pump and very prominent cistern should still be there. I have an aerial photo of all this from 1939. Don’t worry about those signs on the trees, those are for hunters. Let me know if you ever visit. Thanks for the video btw.

Ironically November 18th is on a Monday this year. So that sign in the window of the wine store can't be from this year obviously. I checked & the last time 11/18 was on a Monday was 2013.
So that's most likely been abandoned for almost 6 years now.

I think it's Monday, November 18 2013 if Wikipedia is correct when the store closed.
It's shocking to me that a wine and spirits (which I guess also sold quality beer) shut down. Maybe landlord got greedy, spiked the rents of all the tenants and they all left. Maybe the landlord thought it would get in big name retailers: like Radio Shack. And Payless.
If something isn't done soon this little plaza can become a mini version of Toxic View center in Garbage Heights Ohio. After seven, eight years wonder if it could be rehabilitated. Thanks for your update: A little apartment complex with shops would bring the area to life again. Just hope the rents for both people and shops are decent.
It has to be 2013. Your other option is 2002.
Drove by this property all the time when I lived up there between 2000 and 2009. I at least remember the wine and spirits lettering being on the building if nothing else so maybe not closed very long? Love your vids Wallie you go to so many places Ive passed or been to as a child. Youve been to weirton wv and i live there now and grew up here. Youre right in my backyard! Wine shop I think was 1950s grocery or drug store and the shop beside it was a Jewelry store with the small display windows.Buildings going to be pulled down for redevelopment.Hope it is Apts.a good location for it.
Such a shame with the condition of the building now. It looks like it was a nice building a one time.
It was. Its unfortunate it ended up being left abandoned. I'm not sure why.
@@WallieB26 I found out the Wittmark up here in by me, just across road from a Kmart that closed last year was owned apparently by someone in Texas, who kept paying fines for letting the building just rot. Would have been a nice one too reuse. Signs are still up too even though been over 20 years since it closed.

@@WallieB26 you are welcome I love watching you videos of abandoned Kmarts my Kmart building is abandoned but the a regional department store called magic mart move in there and remodel the whole building and 3 months later they closed down and after that it is has been abandoned I heard that big lots or Rose's discount stores are the two that are wanting to go in there but I heard only one store can go into there has but the company is wanting to subdivided it

If you ever have plans to come out to MN, you would have quite the field day with places that have been closed either for a long time or places that have just done so recently. In terms of the latter of these, some places that just recently closed down in my area are all the Tim Horton's we had here in the Twin Cities (due to issues with the local franchisee for the company), this one awesome Mexican place I'd go to with some friends every now and then called La Fonda De Los Lobos (located south of St. Paul in the suburb of Eagan), as well as a location for this one fairly new local chain of brat restaurants called New Bohemia (also in that same suburb of Eagan). There are many other places in my parts that have either recently or a long time ago closed their doors for good, but those are the ones that I got to know recently.
Bunch of places around Grand Rapids, MI also, some I do not remember anything being in them. One which has a sign "Estate Sales Warehouse" I do not even remember being open, though sign is still up up with a vape shop sign. I wonder if a Tim Hortons over here had same problem with franchise, was just built a couple years ago and allready has been abandoned. A few other places I wish had videos or photos off. Including long abandoned coin op car wash. Looked as if had been abandoned at least 10 years last time I saw it, now long gone as area is being developed.
