A Mini Cooper Sport was my 1st car @ Uni a rust bucket but I loved it, the price is a bit rich
The gauge cluster such a good idea being a tall person (1.9M) seeing the fixed dashboard centre cluster always a challenge
13:47 My normal Cooper 2022 (136hp) also does this "sudden boost" going from 1st into 2nd gear, this car is just amazing!

I think all models, JCW included have a “overboost” function that allows I think a 10% torque increase fora short period. Really makes the smaller 3 cyl feel lively and plenty of power. You can add a aftermarket tuner that basically for the sensors and allows increased boost all the time… within the laws of physics. At some point the turbocharger runs out of capacity. Especially at high altitude.

That handbrake needs adjusting, need to mention that to the dealer to get that fixed ASAP. You should be able to have it all the way up with the armrest down.

I glad to se they didn’t change anything ecept the diffuser and grill from my 2019 jcw ! These cars are awesome! I’ve never used the green mode 🤣 pointless tbh I’m in sport from start up chafed that with programming! The other modes are just de tunes tbh

The handbrake ( E brake) is way out of adjustment! It should not come that high up! It will work without interfering with the armrest if properly adjusted.

Nice till the paint rubs off the door frames it's a design defect of the F56 BMW say is the fault of an external source is rough door seal rubber wears away the paint check the Mini forums before you buy

Except on a super steep hill you don’t need to pull the parking brake up that far. No need to kill it, you’re just stretching the cables. 4 clicks is fine and the armrest can stay in place and the shifter remains at a useable height. You just haven’t stop and consider how the german designers expected it to be used, not what lazy American habits you might have. 😅

Very nice car BUT I had one and super expensive to repair. Had a leaking coolant tank and turbo oil line…cost me almost $2,000 to repair at dealer.

@@kevinwatson9378 funnily enough, after now owning a Mini JCW for almost 4 months, I haven't once had an issue with the handbrake fouling the armrest that a lot of these reviewers seem to complain about. All my other cars have e-brakes though. I don't really have a preference though as my days of handbrake turns/skids are way behind me.
