With her fake clap 😖
the bride telling the one 'friend' to FAKE IT was great
Right lol
So true.
When someone says they love a dress, that would be all I need to hear. It's not your day,Donna!
Yess
Trueeeee! 🥳💗 I feel like they’re not friends anymore after that situation years on down the line. Then again, you never know! 🤔🤷
Jealous friend “I’m being honest “
Bride being savage “Fake it”
😂
I loved the bride for that 😂 someone finally said it
She's just jealous!! It's like she wants Cheryl's wedding to be about her.
Fake friend.🤬
envy 😂
I feel Randy's frustration. Get it together, Donna! It drives me crazy when the bride finds a dress out of very limited options and someone in the entourage wants to nitpick.
i see why donna is just a friend and not a bridesmaid lmao
@@levilore_7126 lmao
I agree. I always think the best is to bring one person or none! The only opinion that should matter is the bride’s!
Yeah it was so out of place and just ruined the moment even if she didn’t completely like it she should of just been happy for her and kept her mouth closed.
@@nate2759 I didn't like my cousin's wedding dress because I felt like it didn't do anything for her, but I didn't say anything on the day. It's not my place and she was happy.
I guess we know why that friend wasn't a bridesmaid. She looked STUNNING in that dress
She looks HELLA HOT in the dress. Stunning figure, and timeless design. I feel she picked the perfect dress.
So true
Was thinking the same thing! Literally everyone else who was there was in the wedding party except for Donna. Something makes me think Donna invited herself along to go see the bride try on dresses.
Unless the friend wants to pay towards a more expensive gown she should keep her negativity to herself when its obvious the bride and everyone else like it.
❤
What is negative about having a different opinion. The friend was being honest without being rude. Would take an honest friend any day to a superficial one. Honestly preferred the 2nd dress. But the bride was so happy with her dress that she positively glowed 🥰.
Seriously! People need to understand the difference between helpful input and being difficult.
@@sn.m It's negative when the bride is happy and has basically no other options anyway. Randy specifically explained to them that there are very limited options, and everyone else managed to take the hint and be supportive.
This is not the time for there to be a picky friend
If I went wedding dress shopping with a friend and she fell in love with a dress that I thought was just OK, I'd lie and tell her she looked beautiful in it. It's her wedding! It's not about me and my taste.
It's my job to support my friends, not deflate them.
I didn't like my cousin's wedding dress because to me it didn't do anything for her figure. But she was happy, and it wasn't my place.
i think it's fine to give your opinion initially like she did. But when she saw it was what the bride wanted she said it was fine
Well said. You area very supportive friend
Well personally I'd much rather have a friend who i knew wouldn't lie to me and i could trust explicitly. Not a fake friend who will lie to me
@@kanyebreast6072 even if it were like this where you loved a dress
It was clear to everyone that there were very limited options given the time to the wedding, her height, and budget. The fact they found a few dresses was amazing. Under these circumstances, her best friend should have zipped it.
Why in the world did the maid of honor want to cut the 2nd dress short? The whole reason they were there is because the bride decided she didn't want to buy a cocktail dress off the rack somewhere!
That was my thought as well.
Because it looked more like a party dress than a wedding dress.
it’s also so confusing to me why the friends think they’re entitled to such strong and rude opinions
I think some “friends” think they’re there at an appointment to be “ honest “and “helpful”,when in reality they’re just nitpicking and we don’t really want your negative opinion, just your support. 🤐
The bride knew how honest they were and she took them to the appointment anyway. She should have known what to expect
maybe because its scripted
@@puiyen94 Yep.
I love the flower girls reaction to every dress. You could tell she loved every single one
If I ever go wedding dress shopping I think I'm only gonna bring little kids along. They're gonna think every dress looks magical! That's the kinda positivity I need in my life.
@@Tottosmile exactly. They'll know how to make sure you don't lose confidence in yourself. And it's like so frickin cute seeing how they get excited when they see the wedding dresses.
@@elmyra9100 I don't know, I think it depends on the kind of kid haha but yes to inviting positive vibes only
Didn't Randy explain to them that they had a very limited selection? Didn't he? What is really wrong with these friends? Ugh.
Beautiful bride & dress! As soon as she said she loved the dress her friend should of kept her opinion to herself. As long as the bride loves the dress that's what counts, her wedding, her dress & her money!
It was labeled "Dress #2". We saw 3 dresses. I think she must have tried on the dress we saw second _after_ she tried on the one she actually bought. That makes sense. (Personally, I think the second dress she tried on looked the best on her. But if you don't happen to like that type of flouncy, ruffly bottom, it's perfectly understandable that it's not the dress for you.)
@@andydufresne5297 She may have put it back on with the veil and then said yes, cut for repetition.
*Beautiful bridal store
She looked FABULOUS in that dress! Maybe the negativity is why that "friend" isn't part of the wedding party...
I didn’t “love” my sisters wedding dress. But she did. And that’s what made me love it. She felt beautiful and happy in it. That’s what the entourage is there for. To help the bride find HER dress. Not the one they would wear or like her in. I don’t know why they find that so hard in some of these episodes. Listen to the bride!!
The dress looked amazing on her. I’m happy she found one.
And that is why I went wedding dress shopping ALONE.
Best decision I made.
Honestly, the people I know that went alone, or purposefully brought people that would easily agree with them/let them do what they want have been the happiest with their dresses
And that’s why the last friend is not a bridesmaid….
Two comments: when choice and budget are extremely limited, especially if the entourage knows it, and when the bride is very happy with a gown that actually fits, this is the absolute right time to fake it. I'm so glad the bride didn't let herself be swayed.
Second comment: I love, love, love the wedding venue, both as a museum and as a offbeat, fun choice for a wedding.
Glad the bride went with what she liked and not let her friend's opinion deter her, because everyone has different tastes.
I am proud of the bride-to-be because she chose the dress she loved.
I always wonder why the opinions of the brides entourage is what she she seems to need in order to buy the dress. It should be what she wants.
i get it when it's like "it draws attention to the wrong areas" or "it makes you look bigger" or whatever, but just "i don't like the back"? like i've seen people veto dresses because "i don't like lace/satin/ruffles/bling" when the bride DOES and it's like, well, it's not YOUR dress so it doesn't matter what YOU like. does it look good on the bride, y/n? no one can deny this bride looked amazing in her dress, especially with the necklace she wore. she just looked perfect.
because it's drama for tv
@@MsJubjubbirdI think that may be a big part of the show! I’ve heard that Kleinfeld’s (or the producers) prefers brides come with a bit of crass opinions to make the show more interesting. Not sure if this is true but it sure does seem so after watching for many years!
@@sandybruce9092 yeah they pick your entourage> you sumit a list of the people you know
That dress was perfect it looked like it was made for her. Randy you out did yourself as usual. I'm so glad she decided to wear the bridal gown She look like a Princess.
The dress she chose looks amazing on her and fitted her perfectly. I think sometimes it's easier to make a decision when you have limited options instead of being overwhelmed by having the whole store to choose from!
This is very true! I chose my wedding dress after only trying on a few. I wanted to buy a sample and take it home that day, instead of waiting for months. I found the right dress surprisingly quickly when limited to what's available to take home that day, and I wouldn't trade it for any other dress, even if I had hundreds to choose from. I also went to my bridal appointment by myself, and I'm so glad I did.
When the mean friend said she would want someone to tell her if something was unflattering, I was like WTF ARE YOU ON! That dress looked beautiful and I love the brides reactions and Randy telling her she is vetoed.
Randy has great tact when dealing with rude people
I took my daughter shopping for her wedding dress. Gave her the budget and stayed out of the way. If she loved it, that was enough for me. She chose well and was beautiful!
I pretty much did the same thing, although my daughter did ask me to help her pick out a gown and look through the racks with her. I picked two gowns that I thought she would love because she had already given me specifications on what she loved and had shown me photos. She ended up picking one of the ones I picked and the other one I picked was in 2nd place. But, if she had picked another gown I would have been fine with that as well because she looked stunning in everything she tried on.
"I'm glad I was honest." Shut up Donna.
"Fake it!" Best comment from a bride to her entourage yet. I love Randy. He was so open with her family. And great at confronting hte sister who wondered if the bride loved the dress, when she had just said she did.
Randy kills me 😂 😂 "What did you not hear?"
Good for her; she stood up for herself!!! Beautiful dress also!!
Whats up with the weird friend that made it about what she wants not the bride lol
I think she's upset she's not in the wedding party, tbh. She was introduced as the bride's "other good friend," not bridesmaid , not maid of honor, just a friend.
Jealousy
It's great when a woman has her own opinion. that makes her strong and beautiful
What a gorgeous bride! I think the second dress was stunning, but she looked lovely also in what she chose. I think her friend was just trying to be honest to help her, but not able read the situation well and know the fine line of when to agree and keep your opinion to yourself for the greater good 😉 it's actually hard for some people to understand social expectations. Love the bride telling her to fake it 😂😂 x
I think the same
It was only me and my SIL when I was choosing my wedding dress. It was about my budget and what I was loving to wear.
Big entourage doesn't help here...
It seems like all the brides that come in with a big entourage have asked for trouble. You were smart!!
it was just me & my mom and i was really just trying on a dress i had already ordered online from another seller XD mom was under strict orders not to say anything other than "yep it looks great!"
@@dietotaku good for you!
The friend was commenting on the back of the dress which looked bunched up because it was temporarily pulled back with clips, pre-alterations, and the lacing was lose. If you are brought along to give your opinion, you aren’t a bad guy for doing that. The bad guy was the matron of honor who kept saying things like “I want the dress cut off at the knees. I want this. I want that.” As though she was in charge.
Donna and Audrey made comments about the dress like they were wedding dress shopping. They forgot this is the bride who is picking her wedding dress not the friends.
At the end, Donna looked so unhappy. Donna should of faked a smile and said the dress is beautiful.
She should have.
Donna probably wants to make sure the wedding doesn't go as planned. She'll probably try and steal the limelight at the wedding too!
Or just said "you look beautiful" because she really did look amazing.
That wedding venue sounds like a really fun setting and that dress was fantastic. She looked lovely.
Good for her saving what she wants
The dress she cose did justice to her figure...well chosen...
Yes indeed! That dress complimented her figure quite well!
I can see what Donna meant- it did bunch a bit oddly at the back when she tried it on, but it was gorgeous from the front. And with tweaking and proper undergarments the issue could easily be fixed for the wedding.
Bride: “I don’t love the fact that it’s one-shoulder. It’s a little boring.”
Also Bride: wears a one-shoulder to the appointment.
you can be okay with wearing something on a random day without necessarily wanting it for your wedding dress...
Actually the shirt wasn't one shoulder it was loose on the shoulder of you notice when she was sitting down it was on the shoulder
Loved the 2nd dress. Her height really carried the frilly mermaid bottom. But her choice was lovely too.
She actually liked all three but each time she listened to what her friends were saying I thought she looked beautiful in all of them ,but she got the one she wanted and it is absolutely beautiful !
Lovely bride , amazing dress. It was perfect for her. Wish all the happiness in the world for this beautiful couple. Congratulations.
The 2nd dress was awesome! Keep it long.
The bride looked lovely in the gown that she chose. With all of the challenges of time, height, budget, etc., I can't believe that her 'friend' Donna opposed the dress, especially when the bride said that she loved it. Everyone else was on board, I can't believe that she was so unsupportive.
Randy in her face, what did you not hear! Love it
That dress was stunning and she looked gorgeous in it!
She looks lovely and happy. Is it weird that I love the sound of the plastic dress covers rustling as the consultants go through the racks?
The bride is great. Knows who she is and what she wants! If she loves the dress, that is all that matters!
This is where people don’t understand how to use tact anymore. It’s like it just doesn’t exist, especially in America 🤷🏾♀️ honesty does not equal disrespect or cruelty! Not saying this particular friend was cruel but she could have said something like “it’s growing on me” or “the other one was my favorite but this one is nice too”… People have lost empathy these days.
Americans have a lot of tact! What we DON"T do is lie to someone. She was a good friend to Cheryl and they may have been friends since childhood so you sometimes are brutally honest to those friends because you care so much for them. BUT just because you don't like the back when you know her options are limited and she has that amazing figure that the dress totally flatters. The bride got her good though=then fake it! This show has taught me that when I get married, I am going shopping alone-at least the first time.
@@annehersey9895 Don’t get me wrong, I am a direct and straightforward person, but with empathy. I’m sorry but all I see is people being cruel to each other, especially since social media. Seems like a person can get away with saying anything thing as long as they think it’s true…But is it kind, helpful, necessary?
@@britt1784 oh Social Media is the worst thing that’s happened to the world in decades! Not only does it give people license to be mean, cruel and dangerous whole generations can’t spell and seem never to have heard of grammar! Boy, I agree wholeheartedly!
The bride looked incredible in this dress , it was as if it was made for her 👌
I LOVEEEE Randy’s reaction to all the things she needed. He knew it was going to be tough but was extremely about it 💕
I think the bride's "other good friend, Donna" is upset she's not in the wedding party, so she's not going to like anything. 😗
Not necessarily.
Some friends would rather be spared the expense and the stress.
Good point
The last two dresses both looked gorgeous on this lovely tall bride with a fantastic figure. I can't believe they don't make samples in size 14. This woman had a beautiful figure. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the back of the dress she chose. That friend wasn't a friend, she was jealous and trying to sabotage the appointment. I went to my bridal appointments by myself, and that made my choice so much easier. No way would I take a bunch of people along and risk someone ruining my moment.
Cheryl looked beautiful and her dress was perfect for her♥️
I don’t understand Donnas negativity at all, especially given the circumstances.
Jealousy? She was the only one there not in the bridal party...
@@katebet07 good point, I suspect that you’re right.
@Kate J My thoughts exactly!! Donna was knocking the dress because she wants it for herself, maybe?
Her friend couldn't even explain why she hated it. The bride looked so beautiful in it! It came across like a jealousy on the friend part.
There's always a closet, jealous one in a group. Koopman looks like a movie star in that choice.
Honestly, the place this bride held her wedding, with the cameras, dress, lights, everything, gave me 90s vibes. LOVE IT!
I get what the friend was saying about the back. It was bunched up but it looked like it was tailored and fixed in the wedding shot.
With such a tight timeline, budget, and the bride's above average height, I almost couldn't believe that they would find her something so beautiful that fit her so perfectly, but of course they did! She looked radiant!
That dress was perfect for her!! As soon as she put it in she looked so elegant. Her figure and height were accentuated in such a beautiful way.
When are entourage members going to learn…IT AIN’T YOUR WEDDIN’!!!!! If the bride is happy, YOU be happy! The end!
some people weren't raised on "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all" and it shows.
The bride LIT UP the room! The dress couldn't have been more perfect. Not over the top and just right measure of sparkle for the venue. The friend...had to wipe crow feathers off her chin.
@2:30 The one-shoulder gown can be tailored into a sweetheart neckline with a layer of gorgeous lace over the skirt - and a blingy belt if she wants - I'd also add more bling to the sweetheart neckline
With the limited time frame, there was probably no time for major alterations. Also, they were already over her budget and major alterations are costly.
@@lisadavis4279 As a seamstress and designer - for decades - my solution is not limited by the constraints of those with no professional training, skills or experience. You might notice the five thumbs up on my comment.
“I’m just being honest” is the stereotypical retort of someone that simply can’t be happy for another and feels the need to be negative 🙃
The bride didn’t come to you and say be honest tell me what do you think is wrong with it I feel like something is off about the dress the bride came out and said she loved the dress and she loved how it felt on her at that point any opinion you have that is against that doesn’t matter because it’s not your dress or your wedding it’s hers and if you’re her friend all you should want for her is to be comfortable and happy if she feels beautiful then she looks beautiful not if you think she looks beautiful then she’s beautiful that’s a lesson a lot of so-called friends need to learn on the show I realize.
Is Donna a little salty she doesn’t have an official role in the wedding?
That friend was probably jealous bc she looked amazing
I get Donnas reaction because the back was a bit weird, but that what alterations are for.
Amazing save!!! That dress fits her PERFECTLY!! GORGEOUS.
All the dresses looked nice on her! The young flower girl was the sweetest…..her friend that was so critical, could learn something from her!
Horrid Friend. !!! How could she.... The Bride looked Gorgeous and the So Called Friend new it too.
Size 14 where?! Was the consultant talking about the right bride? This bride looks like she’s not more than a size 8, even with the camera “adding 10 pounds”!
This is why I went to buy my wedding dress by myself. I'm paying for it, I loved it and OK. The one who's gonna wear it. Every one at the wedding, loved my dress. Ok.
There's nothing wrong with saying I don't like it. She wasn't being negative but being honest, and I agreed with her~
I think the "friend" is more of a "frenemy"! That dress made her look absolutely beautiful, fitted perfectly and she LOVED IT!! Donna is just jealous, and wants Cheryl to question her choice. Maybe she wants that dress for herself, and is planning on stealing the show. I really don't trust her. 🤬
Perfect example of why NOT to bring a bunch of people wedding dress shopping. What was that "friend" thinking of?
AND why do the shops always seem to have a limited supply of larger sizes.
Because the dresses are expensive, so they tend to have them in one of two sizes when they're a shop like this. If you want a size range, to somewhere you can buy off the rack and take home the same day.
really H?
because the dresses are made to order. they have sample sizes in a few sizes and either clamp you down or leave open just to try on. 14 isn't plus size, it is a standard size, but not average.
I agree some stores dont have enough dresses in plus sizes, but im gonna guess almost all the dresses here could be made in size 14 if there was time.
speaking as a plus size person, I understand the reasoning behind this. From a cost standpoint, these bridal salons often only carry a limited size selection because fabric and embellishments are EXPENSIVE. It helps to keep costs lower. A dress that would normally cost 3k could potentially be double or triple the price if they had to make that same gown in a larger variety of sizes. Plus....there's only so much room in these stores. You can't have every size imaginable in every type of gown. Doesn't make sense. It's far more cost effective and practical to carry 1-3 sizes and make alterations accordingly.
I normally don't comment but this time I am. So called friend is so green of jealousy. She obviously didn't want her in a wedding gown for some reason. She said cut the one dress to knee length. It would have looked like a regular dress. She's one passive-aggressive person.
I think she was upset to not be in the were party.
No that was the maid of honor that said to cut it knee length not the “friend of the bride”.
@@allenjovonne thanks for the correction 😃
this was a perfect fit, despite being slightly over budget, but it was totally worth it, she looked radiant, particularly because she loved the dress so much. Kudos to the team for fulfilling this reluctant (time-wise) bride's quest for her dress
What a gorgeous bride & couple! 💕
That dress was definitely meant for her. She looked fabulous. Friend was being honest but maybe it was not her (friend’s) cup of tea but it was the brides choice and she made a great one!
i know im the minority in this comment section, but i ask my friends to come shopping with me to get their true opinions. like if i love the dress so much and i get one differing opinion, it doesnt change how i am gonna feel about it. but if i was already having doubts about a certain part and someone else agreed i would be glad. i want different kinds of people so i get different perspectives and honesty is key. if u wanted everyone to agree with you, then you should go with max 1-2 people, and even that is not a guarantee, you have to go with people who have a similar sense of fashion. the modern friend may not like the traditional style and vice versa. ofc the bride should do what feels right. and if it feels right, no one can stop you. i appreciate donna.
Don't bring people who you know will give you an honest opinion if you don't want to hear their honest opinion. Personally, just watching on a small screen, I think the second dress we saw fit the best, but I get that all that flounce is not to everyone's taste. The one she chose--it was okay, nothing to write home about IMHO. But she's very lucky she found a Kleinfeld's dress she liked at all!
Not Beavis telling her it's "Ok" after everyone going head over heels for the dress 😂
the bride's deadpan "fake it." ICONIC
Funny how the friend who looks envious and jealous with the scowl on her face was trying to dissuade her friend who looked fabulous. Jealousy. It can ruin a moment of beauty and joy.
Geez what a drag Donna was! Did anyone else notice the "I want to chop it off", " I want it short" , "I want it to be this..."? She was acting like it was up to HER!! I can see now why she was the only one not IN the wedding.
The friend who wanted to chop it off was a different person wearing a green blouse, but they sure looked alike!
what the... the dress is perfect. i hate when 1 person ruins it. it's not Your dress it's theirs. on these shows i often think a dress looks ugly but the bride loves it. different taste! it's her day.
Great episode she found the perfect dress she makes a beautiful princess! Adorable couple unique venue for their wedding 💒

A friend??? Don’t think so. Support her decision and not criticize would have been wonderful! Jealous friend!
Bride looks fantastic in that dress.
Donna needs to support her decision
🤷♀
The 'I don't like it lady' is selfish. Beautiful bride!
I think Donna is sabotaging her because she is a “friend” but not a bridesmaid.
And that glowing bouquet was fabulous!
