  • This is one version of the morning routine yoga workout we do right after waking up. This includes elements of kinstretch/functional range conditioning (FRC) controlled articular rotations (CARs), stretching, energizing leg, core and upper body strength work as well as a moment of gratitude. It is changing slightly every couple of months but the key elements are always the same to wake up the body first thing before you get going.       Haha, as you started with the burpees first thing in the morning without any warmup I was a little freaked out 😂 then you gave me a good laugh :) it was quite cute!
      I am actually trying a new morning routine with more time, so this is a nice addition, thanks!

    I've been doing this morning routine (adding up some other asana poses lately to it) since February this year, every morning, not a single day skipped, no matter where I've been. It helped me immensely in chaning my daily routine. I've found out I'm really much more productive in the mornings and the best thing is it has thought me discipline. I've started doing (consistently) the things I love. Such an awesome video, thank you Flo!

    I want to type this to express my gratitude for your videos! My husband started with your practice and encouraged me to watch after my studio closed. I have been doing your videos every morning before going to work and it’s been life changing!! I am excited to see this new one and can’t wait to try it out!     I've been doing this for couple of days every morning and I truly feel amazing after. My body is mobile and warm, I also love the little meditation for gratitude and setting intention for the day in the end. Thank you for sharing this!

    I do this practice every day after waking up!
    A month has already passed and I am not tired of repeating the same thing!

    Ive been suffering from arm and shoulder pains and tingles for months and since Ive been doing this routine for a couple of days, the pain and tingles have almost disappeared and I'm strengthening my body at the same time, it feels great. Thanks so much this is the best way to start my day.

    I’ve always had wrist pain and this has really helped with that! I’ve commented a few times but this routine has made a real difference for me - just going through these motions every day, the whole body feels so much better.

      That's nice to hear, I would say the same but I just did this for the first time and was simply surprised it didn't hurt my weak wrist to do 10 push ups.

    I drive Tractor trailer all through the night and grateful for your channel to incorporate good body weight training before I start my work flow of sitting for long periods

    What a great class and channel!!! I simply started brushing my teeth and starting my day with one of your classes and it makes such a big difference in my life. I was in Wuhan during the coronavirus and I was stuck in my apartment for 2 months. This channel would have helped me so much in that time. Keep up the great work!!!

    I love your videos/classes and have been doing them for over a year now. I really love getting to know you guys through your channel and I love how strong of a practice you offer for those of us who are advanced in practicing yoga! :) Even your beginner practices are challenging and i appreciate your free online classes immensely! You're classes have helped me shape a consistent practice and I love yoga with your videos for a full practice of Asana, breath work, and meditation, even though I don't get through the full practice daily, when I need it the most it always is there and really impresses me with how great I feel afterwards!     Love this! I've been doing short videos of yours with my morning meditation to awaken my body before my evening yoga. However this is definitely one I shall learn to incorporate in my morning, plus with the sounds of the birds in the background, it's perfect!

    So this was the first video I did on this channel, and today, lazy hangover day i decided to come back after 6 months of practice with you guys... The first time I did it, it was challengin and could not fully do it I remember, now 6 months after, well still a bit challenging but there is a world between the two, I am much stronger and confident doing it...     This is a great routine to start your day with. It's a great way to wake up your body and mind, and it's also a great way to set yourself up for success for the rest of the day. I'm definitely going to try this routine out!

    I am recovering from Long Covid and have noticed overall body weakness but specifically in my joints...I did this today because it showed up in my feed and I really enjoyed it. I used to be VERY active so this was the perfect thing to remind my body what it can do. Thank you!

    April 1st I'm beginning a 30 day challenge that requires me to wake up at 4:45 am and has an exercise component to which I'm adding this wake up routine. The 5 AM club is a real movement which everyone should join!

    It took me several practices to realize, that it actually is "Same height as you knees / same height as you head" instead of "Say ℍ𝕚! to your knees / say ℍ𝕚! to your head" 😂 Seems like I was welcoming my head&knees unnecessarly... No regrets tho 😎

    I love the content bro, thank you. I'm 400 lbs and just started doing yoga to regain my core strength and improve my flexibility. I started with a beginner video of yours a month and a half ago and started doing this today. It's a great way to start my day... at 6 am. lol Maybe one day I'll get it together and wake up at 5 am.     Thoroughly enjoyed this practise though struggling with the membership- 5am!!! 😄. Yep...I prefer to leave burpees on the jiujitsu mats AND also only do it when instructed by coach/instructors.

    4:20 am in Germany right now, just did the routine cause I couldn’t sleep anymore. I feel amazing now, although the pushups/plank section was really hard and got me sweating lots. will try to do this workout more regularly, it’s worth it 🙌🌅

    Hey Flo, love your content. Obviously burpees would be the last thing i'd expect from your practices and the intro provided a good laugh. Given though that they're so common in most type of hiit routines (and bjj, the spawl essentially) please elaborate a bit on why you don't seem to appreciate them at all. Thanks.

    I came after watching the other chapter where you explain you were a skater ... this is really good ... the incredible thing about the burpees is that some people keep doing it and many times if they don’t know how to do them or are not ready to, they get injured in their lower back

    I think it should be called the sunrise club and not the 5 am club, at 5 am in my country it is still 100% dark haha

    Hi! I did this set yesterday & today my core is SORE! What the heck! Good stuff, I am a new member of breath&flow…. Will slowly get to the 5am club 👍🏼👏🏼🧘🏻‍♀️
