Florida bus crash: 8 dead, 43 hurt after bus filled with workers overturns in Marion County, FHP say

- Eight people were killed and 40 others were injured when a migrant bus collided with a pickup truck in Marion County Tuesday morning, officials said. The Florida Highway Patrol said the crash happened shortly after 6:30 a.m. on SR-40, west of SW 148 Court, between Dunnellon and Ocala.
Troopers said a 2010 International Bus transporting 53 farm workers and a 2001 Ford Ranger truck, for unknown reasons, collided in a sideswiped manner.

@@ReadingRambo152 Maybe they would not have been on a bus and colliding on our highways if they hired locals to do the job and had the money coming back into the local community instead of workers coming in a bus on the highways, crashing, and going to the hospital without insurance. I wouldn't be surprised if the corporation that benefits from the slave (I mean foreign) labor gets away with no responsibility for the accident that caused injuries and death for the workers using company transportation (unless our taxpayers pay for that, too - it DOES look like a repurposed school bus). They probably have the blessing and even subsidies from the federal government.
