The interviewer is fishing for physical compliments and Matthew never stoops to that. Difference in generations I think too, the interviewer grew up in a world where you could be very open about judging women on their looks.

You mean they didn't stalk them? Truth doesn't hurt me. I know I had predators chasing me 15 years. I was clearly giving signals I could handle the man traffic that was disrupting my life. I could have gone on to Master's. Read the education goals of the French woman now going to head European finance. I could have been learning languages. You guys were arrogant bastards. That's the truth. I wasn't in a bar cause I didn't want to be there. Been there done that. You young studs may think you're hot stuff. But you made a tragedy if my life.
My American dream wasn't to be a house cleaner. It was to work on documentaries. And my photography. And I didn't want to go through some man's ass to do it. My work spoke for itself.

Truth hurts are you so truthful you can't identify yourself. No I didn't think so.
Here's a story. I started taking a career course from a woman counselor to get me on track. Guy in yellow taxi with small Entourage crossed my path as I was leaving mulling over homework. Had to walk back to my apartment. He repeated this every time I headed for my class. I was traumatized. So badly I hid behind bushes clearly exhibiting my fear. Guy never stopped taxi. He followed me into alley in the dark as I hid frightened by three cars. He clearly was either drugged out if his mind or drunk. I got lost for an hour in the dark. This wasn't an isolated incident. This type of agressive behavior was tormenting me for years. My counselor who was a minister since I was considering ministry said I had to choose to be counseled for the trauma or career. I owed $150 for course. The sheer assholeness I have put up with was replicated wherever I moved. ENTOURAGES. Which they then made a show of. My creative brains were being picked. While my ass was being kicked from town to town by men with power and money. To pay people off. Hideous behavior if the taxi cornered me behind a car wash. Crazy hornhonking announcing the approach of someone multitude of times. I was almost catatonic and am suffering the effects of arrogant miscreants one who wanted sex in an ambulance in a bus...on and on. My physical therapy was disrupted. My health was impacted. I was walking for gidsakes.
