    I think you solved my problem with sunpatiens that I tried a couple of years ago. I wasn’t watering them deep enough. Your garden is beautiful and your tours are so peaceful 💚

      Such a pretty cottage bed. I have so many beds and naming them helps me organize my plant tags in my binder

      Thank you Wendi, yes as soon as I backed off the deep water they started to wilt. So they have been very high maintenance for me, but also very beautiful.

    Daylilies need to be in the ground to become big clumps to give you alot of blooms. Nothing wrong with the planr. It's small and gave you one stalk of flowers and is done. In the ground it will give you many more stalks with alot more blooms. Not a plant for a window box. Also Empress Wu hosta is the biggest hosta there is. Again not for a pot. Vicki

      Hi Vicki! I appreciate the info. Makes sense about the Daylilies becoming more robust in the ground. And also the Empress Wu, yes that sure does get huge. I enjoy playing around with perennials in pots and in my window boxes and transplanting them to other spots in my garden. Thanks for stopping by. 😊

    Flying by indeed! I 💕 the Sunpatients and Lemon Coral Sedum is the best. Great choices. It is amazing how trees grow. I have a Red Bud I purchased from Aldi. When I bought it the tree was literally a stick. Now it’s nice and full. Thanks for sharing your beautiful garden.

    Hi Jenny, 🌸 Your garden is beautiful! I can’t believe how much it’s grown in just a few weeks. From the front porch planters, the window boxes, your hydrangeas ~ all so colorful and beautiful. Any hummingbirds? Did you solve the water coming from the bottom of your elevated garden bed?
    Good luck Everett ⚾️ ~ Have a great time in Outer Banks 🌺💕🌸

      Hello there, thank you so much Aunt Sandy! Yes lots of growth in the last few weeks with the hydrangeas being the star of the show. And yes I have seen 3 or 4 hummingbirds so that has been exciting too. Haven't solved my elevated bed with the brown water issue yet but I will get there eventually. Thank you for your support and love you all! XO

    Beautiful Garden Tour you did!!! Everything is just Stunning and Gorgeous and Beautiful!!!
    Your Lawn too is so green!!! What do you use for your lawn!!!! I'm in Arizona any recommendations because our grass there's like weeds growing in the middle and everywhere and lots of random stuff like clover etc.

      Hi Michelle, thank you so much. My husband takes care of the lawn. We do get a decent amount of rain here which helps. We have top dressed it in the past (3 years in a row) with a good quality topsoil. We also have it aerated in the fall and fertilized a couple of times a year. We do use weed killer in the summer. I also water it frequently if we are experiencing any type of drought. I know our weather is quite different from Arizona. Thank you for watching!😊

    Hi Jen! 💚Where did July go?! Thanks for sharing your calm peaceful video. I'm now on the lookout for some of those lemon coral sedum, love the color! Also been wanting to find room for some of those hardy geraniums, I will look for the Roseanne variety based on your success. My climbing roses planted last spring also took their time (New Dawn & Eden) in their first season, but in their second season they have put on a lot of growth. I fertilize with the liquid fish fertilizer. New Dawn actually has canes that are long enough to train now. In the new arbors at the front and back of the new raised beds I've just planted a new clematis and 3 other new rose climbers. The bunnies are so aggressive that I've put a couple cloches over the back ones until they leaf out more fully. Hope they get a chance to grow before getting chewed on!! One of my Bobo hydrangeas also has yellow leaves, the two next to it are fine. So also a mystery to me? Hope your'e doing well! Anne @MartinHouseFlowers 👩🏻‍🌾🦋

      @PrettyLittleGarden2930  Před měsícem

      Anne, thank you! Lemon coral sedum is so beautiful and very low maintenance. So is the Roseanne Geranium, just keeps on blooming and it will kind of trail and cling on to something that is nearby too. I am super excited about my climbing roses. I have to remember your tip on the fish fertilizer too. Looking forward to next year to see how they do. I will look forward to seeing your roses too. Can't believe we are almost to August. Have a great week!

      @@PrettyLittleGarden2930 Hi Jen, I found Rozanne Cranesbill on the Great Garden Plants website, is that the variety you have? Thanks for the tip that they trail and cling. I’m thinking of planting some on the side of the greenhouse that faces my hedge of Little Lime hydrangeas.

    • @PrettyLittleGarden2930
      @PrettyLittleGarden2930  Před měsícem +1

      @@MartinHouseFlowersyes that is the variety I have! They definitely intermingle and trail a bit if planted near something. “Cling” was not the right word, but they have vigorous growth. It is easy to manage though, and they will fill out a space nicely! Good luck. 😊
