    Wow ... the footage of the baby birds and their progress was incredible!!! I had to laugh when you were showing the "shed" in the back yard. I could live in that thing! Its gorgeous! Looks mire like a guest cottage than a shed. Your variety of plants and colors and textures is awesome! I think I need to try some of those heucharas . The colors are so soft and beautiful.

      Hello, thanks for stopping by! The birds were just amazing to watch and so accessible being right in my front door wreath. And yes the shed is rather big lol! And I definitely wanted a pretty looking shed. So it kind of does look like a mini house. 😂 Believe it or not we fill it right up with all of our outdoor stuff too.
      Thanks for watching! 😊

    Your garden is very beautiful and refreshing. Coming from a southerner myself, you should try a camellia in your new garden bed! There are some cultivars that are supposedly hardy down to zone 6, so you should definitely give them a shot. They are definitely worth it.

      Hello Nick and thank you for the suggestion. They are beautiful plants! I don’t see them around our area too much. Wondering if they would survive our cold winters. Can’t hurt to try though especially if there are some cultivars out there hardy to zone 6. I appreciate you watching and commenting.😊

      @@PrettyLittleGarden2930yes of course!! The April series was developed to be hardy down to 6A, I love April rose. Probably best spring planted as well and possibly if you have something to reflect the morning sun off a wall and back onto the plant after cold nights.

    Good Morning Jen! Love the footage of your baby robins 💚Our mama mallard duck 🦆 that was under my lace cap hydrangeas sadly had her eggs disturbed, I was in tears over it. I was so looking forward to seeing her ducklings hatch. My pansies planted from seed are also still hanging in there despite the heat wave. I love your containers with all their color and texture. You've reminded me that I need to check out what's on sale in the garden center so I can update some of my containers. Thank you for this video, it motivated me to do an early July tour around my garden today. Just back from our vacation in Canada, so there's lots to do in the garden of course! Have a good week! Hi Anne! Oh my, I’m so sorry to hear that your mallard duck and her eggs were disturbed. I would be upset too! 😢
      Yes, those pansies are sure hanging in there. I love that you grew them from seed. Maybe I will have to try that too. Hope you had a nice vacation. I look forward to seeing your garden tour! I would love to see how everything is doing.
      And when you can find a good sale or some clearance plants, it’s so exciting! I know there will be some good sales after the Fourth of July so I will be on the lookout 👀 then and also in the fall. Thanks so much for watching and commenting! Happy 4th! 🇺🇸… and Happy Canada Day as well! 🇨🇦

      New subscriber here. Love your channel and your use of Proven Winners in containers. Question: we are considering the purchase of the 2 x 8 raised bed with arch trellis. Is yours the standard 48 in trellis height or did you buy the 12 inch taller kit. Thanks.

    • @PrettyLittleGarden2930
      @PrettyLittleGarden2930  Před 6 dny

      Hi Monica and thank you! I am glad to have you as a new subscriber and appreciate you watching. In regards to the arched trellis, we did the standard 48" trellis, I looked at my order to confirm. We also purchased the footers (Item # 8614364) which have been helpful. One thing I am noticing is that it drips out of the bottom when I water it. But I think that is because we did a mixture of raised bed mix and compost. I think it's the compost that is dripping out. Just be mindful of what you fill it with (Gardener's Supply website recommends potting mix/raised bed mix only). So it may not drip if you follow that guideline. We have ours on a stamped concrete patio too which has been difficult with the dripping. May have to reevaluate what we do with that. But overall, very pleased with it and it really is well made and beautiful. Good Luck!
