After testing it, the engine has been sitting in a crate! May put some hours on it come spring.

Update (long time coming)... It runs like a champ, definitely more oomph! I ran it for about 45 min, then dumped the oil. Quite a bit of glitter. Put new oil in it, ran for another 45 min hard. Dumped the second oil fill, and it looked like new. That engine is sitting now, I have one bike and two engines, the second is a 2013, and the bike is a 2013. I'll probably put the same kit on the 2013, it's great.

Good comparison...casting does look good for a 'cheap' kit. The fins on an air cooled engine affect cooling, so theoretically, the aftermarket kit would not cool as well...that would be concerning given the big bore should make more power and therefore produce more heat. I would be curious to know if you had any overheating issues?

not that you need to hear it again but please do a review video once your ride it a bit in spring. im worried about getting one due to the other video on CZcams about it lol. (Blows after 2 miles or something😂😂) could have been his fault tho who knows

Hey Mike, did you hone your 150cc cylinder? Man the kit i got had some serious tight spots in it. They need work prior to install - Awesome video bud

Glad you liked it. No honing, it was fairly uniform and very little play and the cylinder had hone marks. That said, I went through three other kits for a second engine, two had a 0.3mm piston to cylinder gap (I returned them)! The third was a charm, it's good, but the piston is not 100% circular, so some play in one direction but not much. It's hit or miss with these Chinese kits.

I needed to modify my carb as the mixture became to lean with 150cc.

Mine was fine (or even better than stock 54mm bore) with a 2013 stock OEM carb... I'm near sea level.

Which ring did it go first? Im buying one of this kit thanks

The oil rings go in the bottom groove, the meshed oil ring in between the two thin oil rings. The black ring in the middle groove and the silver ring on the top. Make sure markings (they may be faint) on the black and silver rings are facing the top of the piston. The manual shows the arrangement of the ring gaps. Each of the four rings (two flat oil, one black and one silver) are staggered around the piston by 45 degrees. Make sure the meshed oil ring is not overlapping at the ends.
