So sad. My mom lost her first husband at 26 (he also died of testicular cancer). They were married and 10 months he was diagnosed and 18 months my mom was a widow. I really hope she can find inner peace and grieve and find new love. My mom did with my dad (3 years after her husband died) and they've been married for 37 years. It's amazing she is able to share her story and offer comfort for others. She's a beacon of strength (as is my mom).
Their love story is so beautiful. Francesco was an amazing human, and I am in awe of how Kaitlyn was able to keep it together and support him. Her strength and her heart are so inspiring.
Kaitlin is beautiful, i cried so much when francesco died, their story was so beautiful yet heartbreaking.
This story will ALWAYS make me cry. I want the best for this girl so much man. She deserves it. Love you Kait.

My boyfriend in college was diagnosed with testicular cancer. Fortunately, he’s 54 now and CA free. It was very scary and we broke up because he couldn’t handle a relationship at the time. I respected his decision although very difficult.
Kaitlin is an inspiration to so many and showed nothing but love and respect towards Francescos family and his memory.
Wish her nothing but the best in life and with the guardian angel that she has i don’t doubt she will have a beatiful life❤ rest in peace Fran🫶🏽🕊️
My mother died on the same date March 21st, 2022..😭 May they all rest in peace..

I've lost my dad in 2000 and my mom just last year! I'm an orphan! This life is only a bunch of holding on and letting go! Sometimes it hurts and sometimes its gonna be painless! Roots and wings!!!!!!!

Thanks @holly, I feel the same, but I couldn't find the word until I read what you wrote. I lost my dad first and then my mom a year and a half ago and couldn't put a word to my loss. I too have that feeling of being an orphan. It is a process and some days are better than others. I wish you peace!

How amazing that as short as Francesco's life was, it was so filled with love, joy, and companionship with Kaitlin! She doesn't need to "find" love - she is love ... and that is the legacy that Francesco left for her. May she live, love, and laugh endlessly! ❤

She has to be careful , because there are so many people with ill intentions these days. Sincerity is HARDER to find today more than ever . Social media prompts the pressures of people not being authentic .The games that people play these days are on 10.

I lost my fiance when I was 20 years old to an accidental drug overdose it was 2 months after my mom died from multiple sclerosis in 3 months before that my Grandpa died from cancer and then a year after all that happened my best friend also died from an accidental drug overdose and getting through all of it was the hardest thing I've ever done in my entire life and some days are still unbearable and then other days all I want to do is talk about them and being here there's things and listen to their favorite music and watch their favorite movies there's no right or wrong way to deal with grief everybody is different. I admire and relate to Caitlin so much and I just want to say to always love and cherish people in your life that you care about and love because you never know when they can be taken away from you. And to my angels in the sky I love you and I miss you everyday and I will never let your memory be forgotten 💔 🙏🏽🕊️🦋

Not some of y’all expecting Kaitlin to find LOVE right after she lost Francesco not so long ago. The title is saying she is opening up to love.. meaning she is now going on dates which was extremely hard for her not in love. We cannot expect her to go on one date and fall in love with someone. It is just encouraging that she is moving forward in life. We should be proud of her for that step, but let’s not rush her to fall in love.

My condolences 😢 to the family and her. It’s nice that she wants to stay connected to his family that’s beautiful. I feel for her, however I disliked the phrase of them saying that’s who you are. Perhaps the best way to say it is yes that is part of my story but please stop saying that is what she is because it’s not. She is not his death. Death happens to all of us but it doesn’t make us who we are.

@sbsk2526 I totally agree! The show is about her past being over through the heartbreak and finding the courage to move on with new love. So, where is the new love? I couldn’t agree more. Furthermore, it seems that if that new love didn’t actually have enough time to be more meaningful, where he could appear on the show, that this interview was done prematurely.
