Repair & modifying a Old Dearborn Two Bottom Plow

I bought a old Dearborn brand turning plow! Now it in need of some repair...
I also wanted to modify the pin size to a Category 2 size for the lift arms.

My hitch bar had a rusted off pin. I bought a piece of 1-1/2" od 1054 bar stock. Drill one end, threaded it and put in a new hitch pin.

The pins were in rough shape, so i thought i would just Load up the bar in my lathe, & machine them round...Then weld a sleeve over them. That was more work than I intended...I would have been better off doing what you did, & just cut pins on the ends! Thanks!
