    Harry, the way you grouped the phrasal verbs is very effective for us to differentiate. Thank you so much. Your classes are excellent.

  • @grittayasrinaphasawadi817

    Dear Harry;
    I had learned English by self-study mean for so many years, reading a great deal of Oxford's Cambridge, Merriam Webster's and American Heritage's English Usage, Grammar, and Phrasal verbs dictionary. It is a bit difficult to learn phrasal verbs or idioms by looking into those dictionaries. I found that the way of grouping the idioms and phrasal verbs that you had made was extremely effective of learning. I am grateful for your splendid work. Keep it up!

    I thank you, dear teacher ❤
    I study English in a special school for adults in Dublin. Today I'm telling my Irish friend that I'm learning phrasal verbs. She asks, “What?! What it is?! Explain?" . I'll be honest, I froze for a few seconds, I already thought that I said something unacceptable, pronounced something incorrectly and sounded rude or obscene.
    And only then I guessed what the matter was😊

    Thanks, Harry. Your lessons helps me a lot. But I have a grammer question, that it is confusing to me. This is: when do we use the construction: would've been (something) done. Thanks in advance.

    • @LearnEnglishwithHarry
      @LearnEnglishwithHarry  Před rokem

      You're welcome! I'm glad to hear that my lessons have been helpful for you. In regards to your grammar question, "would've been (something) done" is a construction in the conditional perfect tense, and it's used to express a hypothetical situation that didn't actually happen in the past.
      Here's an example: "If I had known about the party, I would've been there." In this sentence, the speaker is expressing regret for not attending the party because they didn't know about it.
