Still absolutely amazed to this day that Hammond survived that rocket car crash. I have been amazed since the day after it happened and I saw it in the papers. Just incredible.

That tragic accident at 1:26 is NO joke. Hammond lost control of the dragster and was badly injured. The show was nearly killed off because the BBC got so many angry phone calls, saying they had gone too far with the program.

I don't laugh at those. He nearly got killed test driving the rocket powered dragster and the BBC was flooded with angry phone calls demanding the show be axed. And he was test driving a supercar in Italy and lost control of it. It rolled down a hill which, FORTUNATELY, was not very high off the ground. That episode scared me just as badly. He's lucky to have survived the show.

'if one of us were to die, the other two must; after announcing the 3rds passing: continue the show with an 'anyways' and get on with it"... god, these three could go on to do anything together and make it a hit. just think of the lives they have lead, to have such amazing voyages around the world.
They're all hilarious in their own way, but James definitely has the sharpest wit - his jokes always make me laugh without fail xD
