FYI: If your opponent is comboing, SHIFT + "Pass Turn" is the closest thing to "F6" on Arena. If you "hard pass turn", you won't ever get priority (except, I think, for the "Choose blockers" step of combat, and maybe also if they put something on the stack that targets your permanents).

I did not know about this, thanks lots! They really should just add the "Yield Through This Turn" button instead of hiding it behind a key modifier on a button. Either way I didn't know there was a way to pseudo hide priority checks, which is a minor annoyance but goes against the idea of being able to hide that you can do something at instant speed.
@@honestabe411 No, I've run into the same thing. I haven't ever been able to stop it from giving me priority if they put something on the stack, even with shift-pass turn

The new bloomburrow izzet cards are doing to make storm absolutely insane in standard.
This is 1000% the kind of deck I love, but I also understand why almost no one sticks around for the "cool thing" lol

Loved storm back in the day. Awesome video! However, that Pippin deck… that deck seems amazing. Not letting the opponent play stuff is what I love in Magic.
Ral is actually nice but dam, 40 min video and all the enemies are Nadu, i barely see one playing Shilgengar or Slimefoot and Squee
I think because of the Brawl deck matchmaking rating, he'll probably never get matched up against a slower commander when playing Ral.
By far the most entertaining Magic channel on CZcams.
I have tried this deck a lot today and every time I whiff after durdling for 15 minutes. I always feel like there could have been a line to win but I would need 200 IQ galaxy brain to find it.
How ridiculous is it that in 2024, with all these "go infinite" decks, WotC has STILL not implemented a "NO, REALLY, I PASS ALL PRIORITIES UNTIL THE NEXT UNTAP PHASE, I DO NOT WANT TO RESPOND TO ANYTHING THAT COMES UP" button
This was a 2017 issue. When the meta is literally just this solitaire crap, it's no longer acceptable that "pass turn" doesn't ACTUALLY PASS TURN.

It’s ridiculous how many people are playing Nadu in brawl. I get that it’s broken, but I don’t see the fun in playing the same deck as everyone else.
@@BigTimbo91 My best guess is that Arena mostly rewards winning, and these people just like winning as much as possible, even if the most abusable deck is a boring point n' click game with your creatures.

if you press shift+enter you can skip the entire turn, without needing to press anything.

In the last game, could you not just have grapeshotted the 2/2s then attacked for lethal? Even if he saved one to stop your storm kiln artist, the total damage done to his health wouldn't have been much different.

Having to click the buttons is not a client design, it's a Magic design that all of use and actually love. It's called "Hold priority". This is not something you, or anyone else, want to see gone.

I literally run a anti nadu deck in braw right now because I play against that commander like 10+ times a day

I don't understand why arena does not work properly when you click auto pass and they still make you click through things. Why does it not work the way its supposed to? Obviously if you're clicking auto pass, you have no interaction and don't want priority passed to you. One of Arena's biggest issues I find.
Nadu is going to get banned in most formats just like Oko.
There was so many ways to make it great but not broken, yet here we are.

Nadu is such a miserable gameplay experience to play against. Not to mention watch, when cgb walks off to do something else.
I know it's really an unplayable format atm with the bird, cgb's brawl videos are entirely (except 1) nadu matchups. Really ruins things. I know others like Amy don't get it as bad (or) don't showcase as many nadus, but maybe she cuts out a lot, who knows. I just haven't been playing recently to try to wait out the birdpocalypse, hope it becomes less toxic soon, because I love the format. 😅
Bro nadu is so boring
It's incredible how Nadu punishes you both for interacting and for not interacting with it. You just sit back while the opponent accumulates a million resources while also ramping to the moon. It must have an insane win rate against all the other commanders in its current queue. Also Nadu players abusing the fact that it's new so it's still queued against the weaker commanders. So toxic. Horrible play experience in Brawl at the moment. The best thing you can do is insta-concede, just refuse to play with them at all, they're just going to play solitaire anyway.
You can still win against Nadu, no need to concede, since most Nadu players are bad and play bad decks.
@@CristianCiotti I won against Nadu multiple times (either by the opponent's inexperience, my lucky draws, or their unlucky draws) and don't concede on the first few turns because I just want to play the game.
It's still very annoying, boring and tiresome, so I don't blame people who want to avoid that entirely.

Let the timeouts run? Seriously? Does CGB seriously not know - after posting daily Arena gameplay videos for years - then you can just press Shift+Enter to autopass all priority until end of turn?
Doesn't work on everyone's client for some reason. It works for one of my friends, but not me or my other friends. It just gives you priority anyway.
@alexanderblixt1221 For me, the first time it's used on a turn, it may give priority again. But the second time, it always works.

@@troacctid Because a lot of the good Nadu synergy cards place +1/+1 counters. Proliferating is still insanely win-more and doesn't really help the deck in practice.
You can see how decks like Nadu breaks the game when you hear CGB saying phrases like: "I need at least another turn to setup". I deeply hate Nadu... made brawl boring...
This is honestly just pathetic at this point. Put all of the brain dead Nadu players in their own que, so everyone else who is actually trying to have fun can do so.
