  • A watch is a watch, wouldn’t you say, a trinket that tells the time and does so, hopefully, clearly and accurately. That’s certainly the expectation, but when it comes to watchmaking, there’s always a surprise waiting just around the corner. If you’re sick and tired of watches doing what you expect, then here are three that do exactly the opposite.

That Oris propilot is in cooperation with REGA (the red cross with wings)...REGA is the swiss helicopter medic unit, so pretty cool

I've been wanting that Maurice Lacroix for nearly 10 years now. I've seen the brand's watches on sale on multiple websites, but never that specific watch. I must say, the fact that you've mentioned this watch brings me happiness in knowing that others have seen and appreciate the beauty and simplicity of such a watch.

You’re so damn right about The Bends though. The album, not the ailment.

Another fantastic video from Watchfinder, Personally, I would add a time piece with a pulsometer scale like the Longines Asthmometer-Pulsograph or the Speidel Scrub 30. The Speidel is an interesting one because it's a durable and affordable quartz time piece specifically designed for medical professionals
