I was a little girl of 8 the first time I heard Elvis. I am now 75 and I still am so enthralled by his sound. He is one of a kind. No one can touch him. His voice, grace and style are the closest thing to perfection that a human can reach. Sadly he succumbed to human frailty. I often wonder if he had gone into the faith business how far he would have gone. His charisma was total and untouchable. His voice will live on forever.

The Man can lift your spirits or break your heart with his voice, the joy or pain is real. Other celebrities gain weight, abuse substances, or say hateful things but somehow it's Elvis that keeps getting trashed. Elvis did more good for strangers than some do for their familes. Any faults he had we're outweighed by his heart which was pure. Miss him so very much. ❤ Thanks for your reaction.

Much of the world didn't really know Elvis Presley. Most people only know him as an artist and musician. but he was a truly extraordinary person. He really loved everyone and wanted everyone to be as lucky as he was. There was never a day that went by that Elvis didn't help people. he gave help to so many people. The art and the person of Elvis Presley got me through many lonely days and dark times. I love this person more than anything. The incredible thing is that after over 46 years as a fan, I continue to learn new things about Elvis Presley. There are such beautiful videos about him (on CZcams etc.).

CV, it's not just his voice, it is more than music.....God created this man and his magnificent voice. He uses people to reach others. Tho there is no perfect man on earth, I believe He made Elvis, this perfect storm come together for HIs purpose. He gave him everything, the humility, the giving heart, the greatest one of a kind voice (never to be duplicated or to sound like any other), the charisma, and yes the looks. I believe the end goal was to reach others thru his gospel music. Before Elvis went into the studio to record his first gospel album he prayed that God would take the Elvis out of his singing and that if it reached one soul, that it would have been worth it. So when you feel more than the music, I think it is bc it is more than music and that is why new fans are always coming up and he is still reaching people today a half a century later. You will love his song "Without Love". It will blow you away, please listen to it next. Thank you.

Elvis fans totally get what you're saying. And you've just barely scratched the surface of his magic.
"Green, Green Grass of Home" is another Tom Jones song that Elvis covered. I hope you'll react to that one also. It has a fun backstory. In the '60s, when Elvis made a lot of movies, he and his entourage traveled across country in a bus. In 1967 they heard Tom's new song and stopped at every phone along the side of the highway to ask the D.J. to play it again because Elvis and his buddies liked it so much. Elvis released his version in 1975.

I will defend him too.He wanted to give his fans the best of his talent that God had given him. He was quoted as saying "Why him. Why had God given him so much" Another quote, when the girls would try tearing the shirt off his back, he said" His fans paid for it. They could have it if they wanted it" He loved his fans and was grateful for them. He gave with a grateful heart. Maybe that was why he was so blessed . Love your reactions. Along the way he learned from watching and listening to others,. He learned to control his voice more, He learned how to work an audience., Anybody can learn how to dance, sing and entertain to some degree, but natural rhythm in dancing, a natural ear for music, natural talent to pick up and play instruments or piano, a great singing voice, a soul for singing,, exceptional good looks and a generous, loving, heart is all God given. You can always work on all these things to be better, but if you have them to began with, working on them makes them great. Thank you. By the way, When I first got married in1968, I was 18 and my mother-in-law always thought Elvis would be chosen by God to lead the young people to Christ.Think about it.

50 years ago, my mother borrowed from my uncle "Elvis Live from Madison Square Garden." I was 7 years old. I heard 2001 A Space Odyssey and was intrigued. The the drum roll, trumpets, and That's All Right Mamma. I sat in front of the big wooden stereo for an hour without moving. I've listened to Elvis every day since. Yep, every day. I became an Elvis fan when I was 11 year old back in 1985. I was teased with it in school (it problably dident help that I combed my hair like Elvis 😂), but I dident mind. Many years later (2002) when most of the singers the rest of my class loved were forgotten, Elvis had a number 1 hit with JLXs remix of "a litte less conversation" and I saw the same people go crazy on the dansefloor to that song 😅. The problem is that Elvis has become such a legend that people take him for granted, but still think of him in a caricatur kind of way (the impersonators are maybe to blame). Then if people watch him or listen to him for real, most get really surprised. And Elvis did so many different songs in different styles and different genrers (Gospel, country, blues, rockabilly, rock n roll and combinations of two or more of these). You couple that with his amazing voice and abillity to inject the songs with so much of the right feeling and you have a once in a lifetime phenomonem.

Elvis felt he had a calling from God, to help others with the money he made with the voice God had given him. He would say God had blessed him with that voice in order to bring happiness to a people whose lives were impacted by war, hardship & segregation. He was never happier than when he was giving gifts to others, to help make their lives easier. He never forgot the poverty of his childhood & was a humble man. There is a great video “The King Of Kindness” which would be a wonderful one for your to React to, in order to see the Elvis behind that golden voice. Elvis was not perfect by any means. None of us are. He said in his Madison Square Garden interview that the image is one thing & the human being another, & that it was hard to live up to the image. We all understand where you are coming from, because we are there with you. Another great Reaction!

Elvis’s instinctive use of his voice (soft, strong, light and airy, deep and dark and everything in between) to evoke FEELINGS. Not many artists do that. Yes, you’re right - it feels like home, or a cozy blanket on a winter’s night. His version is amazing and even better than Tom Jones’s version (which was great!).

It really is unexplainable, he gets inside you. And I don't really know how to explain it either. There really is something about him that so many of us feel. And it's not just the music there is something about him, the man the person that we all are feeling. The main reason I watch reaction videos cuz I love to see people from different generations than myself listening to my generation music. Cuz I'm proud of our music. And I love seeing appreciation when the younger generation gets it. All the feeling that went into performing. And seeing the talent right before your eyes. I love it. And I like your reactions it touches my heart to see your appreciation for Elvis Presley's talents

You said it well. It’s hard to explain to those who don’t “know” him. I was completely surprised at how much he means to me; his music, his voice, his just being who he is. We’re not unaware of his struggles and failures, but his humbleness and genuineness only makes you connect more. It is very strange indeed. It gets deep inside of you.

We know what you are feeling. He touched your heart. I don't know if the religious angle he feels and puts across. Or if it's a soothing comforting quality but I never saw someone who makes you love me. I once heard someone say "Talent is when you can sell, what you feel". Thanks, be blessed.

Elvis had many gifts musically, but in my opinion one of his greatest was his ability to make you feel that he was only singing to you. Whether that was sharing a story, his gospel music, a love song or a cover version of someone else`s hit song. His manner and generosity plus how he carried himself as a person only solidifies that point. We have been blessed with many fantastic entertainers across many genres of music but what makes Elvis stand out is no matter what you like personally there`s probably a song in his vast catalogue just for you to enjoy.

    Hey mate
I know exactly what you are talking about
    When you heard Elvis
It's like listening to a best friend
    He makes you feel LOVE
    His incredible voice
The soulfulness of his voice, and he sings straight from the heart
Doesn't matter what mood you are in before you listen to Elvis
I guarantee your mood changes, and you feel like you said
    AT HOME
Elvis is more than just a singer
Listening to Elvis is a lifestyle
You can't get enough of that beautiful voice
You need to hear Elvis every day
    He's like a drug 😂
You are addicted to him ❤
He touches your heart and soul
Every time he opens his mouth and that sweet voice comes out
    We just love him
    He's not just a singer
He is a lifestyle that you can't live without
    He's the King
No one can ever come close to him
    Not even Michael Jackson
Elvis was the first and the original
    Long live the King
You should listen to Elvis and Tom Jones sing this song together
    Wow incredible
    Thanks, mate
    You are the best

Elvis was just different, and multitalented. You have got to watch how much fun this guy could be. He loved to laugh. See his rehearsal videos. Like "Elvis Presley Stranger in the Crowd Rehearsal" 1970. Also, "Elvis Presley in the Studio" 1970. "Elvis Presley talks to the Sweet Inspirations.". " Elvis Presley Funny Moments". 1970. Thanks man, love your reactions.

Elvis is the most unique, the most talented singers of all time. And I do agree with you. That the movie opened so many doors for him years after he had died. Because we didn't know the amazing talent, the voice, the ability of him sounding so natural, yet it was so dynamic. So powerful and such a voice that transcends the human mind, the human concept of the ability that a man can have . And not only articulating the words of a song, but doing a tremendous job of communicating the message to the heart.
