I mean, the man LEGIT saved so many lives… just by getting the vaccine publicly. That’s insane. I don’t think he ever really realized how many people he touched and how deeply he affected peoples lives. ❤ love my Elvis.

I noticed elvis been Christian even donated $10,000 to a jewish fund elvis didn't segregate he didnt act like the majority all he saw that we are all Gods children, the $75,000 he raised for the largest viewed show concert of all time is equvelant to over $500,000 into todays currency he truly was a generous man just as all true Christians should be regardless of color or creed

According to his genealogy, he had a great-great-grandmother who was Jewish. There is a Jewish star on his mother Gladys' original gravestone that sits in Graceland. The star on one corner, the cross on the other. He was also part American Indian 3 or 4 generations back on both sides. He had black neighbors as a kid who brought his family food & clothes during the roughest times & he never forgot that. So he was mixed race himself & truly color-blind. Just think of the world we'd have if we were all like Elvis.

Elvis' Aloha from Hawaii concert was for charity -- it was for the Kui Lee Cancer fund - the goal was to raise $25,000 & it raised $75,000 ($523,759 in today's money). Elvis purchased his own ticket for $1,000 & did not make any money from the concert - it all went to the cancer fund.

Elvis' cousin Billy Smith on his Elvis Fans Matter CZcams channel, shared an incredible story of his abundant generosity to a complete stranger.
One day the two were riding in Elvis' limousine when they passed an old black gentleman and his wife who were trying to push their truck full of wood that had broken down. Seeing people in need, he stopped and leaned behind them to offer help.
Elvis, who had not been recognized by the couple, offered to push the truck with his limousine. But it didn't quite work out, so he went out and offered the old man a ride, who was warmly received.
He then took it to the Oakley Ford car dealership in Memphis.
Billy recalled, “He bought this guy a new truck and I thought that old man was going to faint. I couldn't believe it!”
As he signed the papers for the truck, the car salesman said, "Mr. Presley, is there anything else?" and then that old man realized who had been so nice to him. But the generosity didn't end there.
Elvis told the old man to drive his new truck to his old truck, where he would meet him there. He and Billy then helped him move the wood from the old truck to the new one.
The dazed old man said, "Mr. Presley, I don't know how to thank you. Do you want that old truck?" Elvis replied, "No, but you could get something for it." Then he said, "Well, okay. I can not believe this! I hope I don't get so excited that I wreck my new truck! To which Elvis said: "Now be careful, don't do that!"
However, this was not the end of the story.
Elvis then turned to the old man and gave him $500 in cash and said, "This will help you too." He replied, "Thank you very much Mr. Presley! Lord bless you! ”
Billy added that as they walked away, he saw the old man standing there and was still shaking in disbelief at what he had just gone through.

A memory that really stuck with me was the amount of thank you letters that are shown at Graceland, just endless amounts of letters from organizations, communities & private citizens, thanking Elvis for his generosity. He never did it for publicity. He did it privately, not wanting any publicity. It was overwhelming to see how much he gave.

Until the day he died, he addressed people he came across as sir or ma'am. If you were introduced to Elvis he would say, "Hi, I'm Elvis Presley' and would reach out to shake your hand. A true gentleman who knew his effect on the world, but really tried to underplay it, and sometimes seemed to find it hard that people would remember him after he was gone.

Elvis was an empath all the way! I am 56 years old now , but I can’t even remember when he drifted into my life. He had always just been there. I am an empath myself, and til this day I believe God put him in my life for a reason. I still cry when I see him sing in concert.
He would also spit nails if he knew that you had to have a checking account of a Rockefeller just to be able to see an exhibition on his property. Not to mention the prices of one of those “guest houses “.

Elvis once told his father he wanted a pickup truck to ride around his ranch. His dad told him that's foolish. You don't need a truck. Pissed off, Elvis went and bought 100 pickup trucks all different makes and models in various colors. He drove each once, picked the one he wanted and over the next several weeks would take one out and drive till he saw someone in an old junker or just someone that looked like they needed a vehicle and gave it away. He did this until he had given all 99 away to people in need.

For whatever personal issues he had, Elvis was a religious sympathetic and caring person - he never forgot where he came from as a poor resident of Tupelo Mississippi and he routinely did good deeds and supported worthy charitable causes without taking a tax write off, name anyone famous today who does these kind of things - there may be a small handful but not many. He worked with star Danny Thomas to raise money for march of dimes among others. He often gave away homes cars and rings sometimes valued in the tens of thousands of dollars, the stories are endless.

The Denise Sanchez meeting ( April 19th 1972 ), had a twist, a couple in California read about Elvis's meeting her and he actually name checked her in the concert. They got her address from the telephone book, and then paid for her and her mother to fly to Vegas, to see Elvis again at the start of his Summer season. They covered flights, tickets and the hotel costs .... she passed away on 26th August 1972, in her home town of Santa Fe, New Mexico. Denise's father, US Army Private 1st Class, Pete Sanchez had died at the age of 25 in 1968, her mother, Trudi, passed away from Cancer aged just 53 in 1998 ....

About the part where a lady responds to Elvis kissing little Denise Sanchez - the lady is actually Denise’s mother. Denise had desperately wanted to see Elvis’s show when he came to their town. On the day, her mother had helped Denise - now using a cane - walk up to see Elvis backstage. This meeting before the show was a bonus. Timing was not ideal - Elvis, like many stars tense before a show, generally preferred meetings after the show,.In this case, logistics meant, they could only meet when Elvis was about to go on stage. Anyway Denise, whilst bursting with joy to talk to Elvis, was embarrassed she had little hair left. But Elvis, empathic soul that he was, cared not about that, He gave her words and time. And when he kissed Denise, it was the icing on the cake for her mother. You even hear her ask Denise adoringly, “Are you happy now?!”
The full video of this outtake is called ‘8-year-old Denise Sanchez with Elvis Presley’

Your son is lucky, he has a Great father who sets the example of love and charity for him to follow. You are so right about just smiling and speaking to our fellow humans, share love, share positivity, compliment someone. i recently went to the supermarket in the evening and this couple in their late 40's were getting out of the car, the gentleman went around and opened her door, the two were walking in front of me holding hands and I told them "You are such a good example of love and what it means to show love, the young people will learn from you", they both stood taller, broke out in big smiles and I could see how much it meant to them to hear that but it meant more to me just seeing that real love in public. Our society has lost its ability to show civility and good manners in public. Our children in our communitites need to see us set the examples, they learn by watching us. So go out there and show others how to live happy.

On Christmas Eve Elvis had an open house party at Graceland. The people from Memphis & surrounding cities could come! If they needed anything and he could provide it he did. He wrote out checks to the people that lined up to come in to Graceland. He gave away numerous other things ...that's just 1 of the things he did on Christmas Eve.

Recommendation: 68 comeback special bloopers and Elvis funny moments show Elvis' funny side too. He liked to joke around and wasn't afraid to be goofy. Which makes him even more lovable if that's possible.

I understand how you felt sir. We were so poor growing up and my dad died when I was 4 yrs old and so it’s a beautiful thing to do when someone really needs it. It’s hard to figure it out sometimes and we will know who will need it an Happy New Years to you. God bless you ❤❤❤😊

Ppl were so cruel to him in the later years because of his appearance he stopped leaving his home he was not fat he had many serious medical issues including a twisted colon which his daughter also had and that is what killed her last year. He was swollen not fat and also in extreme pain so he was jacked up on pain killers so he could perform. He was introduced to uppers and downers when he was in the army it was very common to be prescribed uppers to keep soldiers awake overnight and downers to sleep these were prescribed to everyone because no one knew the dangerous of addiction but they would be given to house wives to keep up with children and house work PRESIDENT KENNEDY was also prescribed the same things. Being an Elvis fan I thank you for actually doing your research and not just bashing him like some ppl do and also did to Whitney Houston. These are people and have the same flaws as u and I ……..

God bless you, Brother. I had to sub after this. I grew up dirt poor too. Getting made fun of. But I never let it make me a mean or bitter dude. I had a good childhood and had plenty of poor ass friends in the same boat as us. 😂😂😂😂 Now that im an old man and got my own business I still love to see a dude make it off the bottom and do it with a smile and keep that love. Made me smile on a cold ass day. Thanks

What I take away from from this reaction is you put in the the work before your son gave the box of pizza to the homeless man. Glad you appreciated this video and Elvis. I subscribed out of your kindness. I loved Elvis growing up. Great reaction

The king loved to help people. If he was poor he still would have been helping people and strangers some way. His estate still gives. He has a Elvis house where you can stay for a year for free.

I dig your story. 10 years ago I was eating Thanksgiving with family and friends and I stuff myself until I was sick. Then it hit me. I said I made myself sick from eating so much and there's people not eating today. For the last 10 years I feed 2 or 3 homeless people before I eat Thanksgiving. Texas. Stay well and groovy my friend.

I appreciate that you spokento the amounts he donated and what that would equate to in today's economy. It is something that particularly the younger generations find hard to imagine because they are only familiar with the current values of money. I like to point out that in the 1970s an Elvis fan could enjoy his concert at the Hilton International Hotel in Las Vegas for $12.50. Oh and that was a dinner ahow that included a steak and lobster dinner! Been to see anyone in concert in Vegas lately? Most single drinks in Vegas cost more than $12.50 now.
