      Drugs often cause hallucinations. But of course drugs are made by the devil, and consuming and focusing on devils goods can perhaps cause such a situation to make you see things. Or like in the video explained, God made you see the spirit from Hell as a wake up call to not continue this lifestyle and turn to God. Bless you.

    Father Alar has a remarkably clear voice that is easy to understand, and yet I find myself wishing that his shorter teachings were available in the closed caption. I live near a beautiful cemetery and I have a devotion to the Holy Souls. I pray for them daily during the day and night. Our 7-year-old grandson loves driving through the cemetery and praying a Hail Mary for the Holy Souls on the days that I am privileged to pick him up from school. Our nickname for Purgatory is "Scrubby-Bubble Land" where people are getting all cleaned up for Jesus and Mary. I am a convert and it took me decades to come to terms with Purgatory. The more we pray for the Holy Souls, the more real Purgatory is for us to understand.

      @@DivineMercy_Official what Bible verse tells us to pray to the dead or those in heaven?

    • @DivineMercy_Official
      @DivineMercy_Official  Před 8 měsíci

      You might want to read Rev 5:8 and Rev 8: 3-4 where those in heaven take our prayers to the throne of God. The Bible does teach that the saints are alive even though they died on earth. Consider, for example, that Jesus teaches that the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob is “not God not of the dead, but of the living” (Matt. 22:32; see also 22:23-33) even though they had all died on earth. In addition, Moses is alive to Jesus at the Transfiguration and converses with him, even though his earthly death had occurred many years before (see Matt. 17:1-8).

    • @DivineMercy_Official
      @DivineMercy_Official  Před 8 měsíci

      @KevinWindom-fz5bc "To pray to" doesn't necessarily mean "to worship" but "to ask." Haven't you ever asked anyone to help you? We ask Mary to help her lead us to her son. To bow doesn’t necessarily mean worship either. Japanese businessmen bow when receiving your business card as a sign of honor. Are they worshipping you? Certainly not. About 2 weeks ago, my deceased husband appeared to me as I left my chair in the living room to go to the kitchen. It was a very vague outline of him but I recognized it. I couldn’t stop myself before I passed by him and as I did, my arm passed through his and he immediately disappeared. I was startled and upset and prayed right away. Right before this happened I had heard that souls from purgatory may appear to be asking for prayers so I immediately started talking to him and praying to God and for the intercession of the Angels to help him out of purgatory. I hope he lets me know sometime that he finally made it to heaven. He has been gone almost 7 full years.

    I was raised Catholic and learned about Purgatory when I was younger. As an adult, I've met many non-Catholic Christians who disagree with the concept of Purgatory. If Jesus paid the price for our sins on the cross, then why would a believer need to "suffer" or go through some sort of cleansing period after death but before going to Heaven? It's like saying that the immeasurable sacrifice Jesus Christ made for us fell short, as if what He went through wasn't enough. I must admit, that viewpoint makes a whole lot of sense to me.

    • @wms72
      @wms72 Před 2 lety +2

      Haven't you read St. Paul's letter saying, "I make up in my body what is lacking in the sufferings of Christ ...."? Jesus paid the eternal price for our sins. But we have to make reparations for the temporal consequences of our sins. For instance, if you left your wife and went to another country to commit adultery, then felt sorry and went to confession, you would be forgiven. BUT, you would still have to make the trip home and make up with your wife to undo some of the temporal consequences of your sin. Sin also deforms one's soul, by making giving in to sin easier the next time you're tempted. Purgatory removes from our soul the effects of sin already forgiven.

    • @DivineMercy_Official
      @DivineMercy_Official  Před 2 lety +2

      Yes, as said below, Jesus paid the debt to save us from the eternal punishment due to sins but there are consequences due to sin and for that we need purification and detachment before entering heaven. As Revelation says, "nothing impure will enter the kingdom of God." How many of us are totally pure? Praise God for Purgatory. God bless czcams.com/video/QLvPSHZhgKU/video.html

      If we trust in Jesus's death and finished work on the cross then we are saved from the penalty of sin...death and have the assurance of heaven. The verses in Scriptures that say we are being saved is from the power of sin in our lives...we will " sin less" by His power. And the verses that say we will be saved are from the very presence of sin which is when we are in heaven where there is no sin. This IS eternal security. Jesus promises to those trusting in what He did, verses trusting in anything we do, is that the moment we put our faith and trust in Him who saves us is eternal life...our citizenship is in heaven.....not Purgatory.
      Paul clearly states "To live is Christ...to die..Gain"
      It's a win win for the belie er. I was a practicing Catholic for 44 years...then Jesus taught me all about Salvation in His Word. Love to all

    This is a verse from the New International Version (NIV) Bible. It is found in Matthew 22:21, Mark 12:17, and Luke 20:25. It is part of Jesus' answer to the Pharisees and Herodians who tried to trap him with a question about paying taxes to Caesar. Jesus asked them to show him a coin and asked whose image and inscription were on it. They said, "Caesar's." Then he said to them, "So give back to Caesar what is Caesar's, and to God what is God's."
    The NIV Bible does not explicitly say who can return to the earth after death. However, some passages suggest that only God has the power to raise the dead and bring them back to life on earth. For example, in 1 Samuel 2:6, it says: "The LORD brings death and makes alive; he brings down to the grave and raises up." In John 11:25-26, Jesus says: "I am the resurrection and the life. The one who believes in me will live, even though they die; and whoever lives by believing in me will never die."
    The NIV Bible is a popular translation of the Christian scriptures that uses the word ghost in different ways. According to some sources , the term ghost can refer to:
    - The Holy Spirit, who is the third person of the Trinity and the source of God's power and presence in the world .
    - A spirit being, either divine or demonic, that can appear to humans or influence them in various ways .
    - An apparition or a disembodied dead person, which is not supported by the Bible but rather a deception of Satan and his angels .
    The NIV Bible does not teach that ghosts are the spirits of deceased humans who can communicate with the living or haunt places. The Bible warns against seeking contact with spirits, as they are either evil or forbidden by God. The only spirit that Christians should seek is the Holy Spirit, who guides, comforts, and empowers them to live for God's glory.

    i work in a college on a night in the UK and the building was built in 1931 near the historic city of York, England, UK. i have seen things like a black shadow that passes the that caught my eye a lot of times, i thought its just me tired and seeing things till the lad that does my nights off told me 1st that he has seen it and others have come forward
    this is why I searched up ghost and found this video be honest i just can not get my head round about ghosts sometimes they semi transparent or fully that walk through walls and often you cant see them but hear their foot steps or voices or throw something. the next logical equation i thought is aliens that are light years ahead who can phase them selves out of our world but still walk among us

    Big difference between Catholic and other's view: The Lord's mediation. It is mandatory. Indeed Our Lady said in Medjugorje: "The important thing is to pray to the Holy Spirit, so that He may descend on you. When one has Him, one has everything. People make a mistake when they turn only to the saints to request something" (October 21, 1983).

    • @DivineMercy_Official
      @DivineMercy_Official  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes "only" is the key word. Intercession is always to be in Christ as the Catholic Church teaches. Yes, Jesus is the only way to the Father but there are many ways to Jesus. Have you ever brought anyone to Jesus? If not, you should. If you have, then why can you but not Jesus' own mother? Andrew brought Peter to Jesus. Philip brought Nathanael to Jesus. I brought my family to Jesus... but there's no intermediator b/n Jesus and man? In proclaiming Christ the one mediator (cf. I Tim 2:5-6), the text of St. Paul's Letter to Timothy excludes any other parallel mediation, but not subordinate mediation. In fact, before emphasizing the one exclusive mediation of Christ, he urges "that supplications, prayers, intercessions and thanksgivings be made for all men" (2:1). If subordinate mediation is not allowed, please don’t ask anyone to pray for you because prayers are a form of mediation. Moreover, the Greek word used for "one" that St. Paul used here in I Tim 2:5-6 in the phrase "one mediator" is not monos, which would mean "sole," but eis, which can mean "one" in the sense of "principal," or "first in a series." Jesus is the principal Mediator who enables many other sub-mediators to transmit the grace of God to others. Again, faithful Christians act as sub-mediators in Christ when they pray for their neighbors, share the Gospel with the lost, and serve the poor. The Bible says that our growth in faith and holiness is aided by the intercessions of the other members of the Body of Christ (Eph 6:18; I Thess 3:11-13; I Tim 2:1-4), and there’s no better intercession than that of Jesus’ own mother. Jesus comes from the line of David an in the Davidic Kingdom the role of the Queen Mother was important (1Kings2:19). Read about how she had the function of "counselor" to the king in regards to all matters. God bless.

    Father, I fear that I may have done one of the most aggregious sins, though not entirely by my own fault, but through my own curiosity. I have a few friends, who are deep down genuinely good but troubled in heart and spirit, who participate in wican/ pagan practices, and I observed a few of their rituals. Mostly just to gain some understanding and perhaps let them see that such ways are most unholy, I however have failed to bring them to Christ, and I fear that my presence at this rituals might have damned my soul even though my intentions were good... I don't know what to do and it has haunted me ever since.

John 1:12 But to all who did receive him, who believed in his name, he gave the right to become children of God. When we are the children of God, why should we pray to Saint?

    To be absent from the body is to be one with the lord, we live once then are judged, he who goes down to the grave does not come up, on that day his plans perish, his plans for this life are cut off his house will never know him again, he will never have a say in anything that goes on under the sun. For the living know they will die but the dead know nothing. Their anger their hatred and vengeance is cut off. All Bible versus going way against ghosts just lingering around in this life after they perish. I disagree mostly with what’s been taught. Scripture says your in heaven, hell or maybe purgatory (I’m not Catholic). God does not just let a soul wonder around after they pass away. I agree God allows saints to appear and under certain conditions deceased ones to appear for something like Elisha and Moses or Saul and Paul in the OT but those are few exceptions from a higher power. Stories about someone’s dead gramma or grandpa being seen at their old home or property is NOT the case most ghosts are what the Bible calls familiar spirits as God talked about when God warned Joshua and the Israelites to have nothing to do with as they were moving into then by promised land.

    I'm not sure visions and dreams are any evidence that ghosts are real in the Bible. The occurrence in Samuel is really the only one, but the Hebrew text concordance doesn't really clarify what the spirit was identified as, so calling it a ghost is a questionable translation. Regardless, it's clearly different from a ghost haunting an old house.
