Thanks again for you videos, I’m half way through and you couldn’t of said it any better. If you teach us something we should get out, try, execute and hopefully we’re successful!
I hope some of you guys will find some sort of value in my videos. Then go out there and find success. If you don't succeed at first try and try again.
@@usstartarsauce I eyeball it around 30 to 50ft. If you want to be accurate, get a water wolf camera and attach it about 4ft from the lure/hook and you can actually see where your lure/hooks are hovering.
@@playdirty714 I bought a few line counter reel, planning to attach a cannon ball sinker to sink to desirable depth. What I find is 1oz= 10-15 ft per 100 ft of line out at trolling speed 1.2-2.2 mph. I learned that from salmon fishing. So if I know the bottom depth I can do this walk to bottom. When I am back in socal I will try it out. Hopefully see you on the water.
Thanks for your support bro. I subbed right back. If you didn't sub, I wouldn't have known your channel existed. CZcams never recommended your vids in my search or browse. Which means my channel is not getting out either. I guess CZcams rewards those channels that upload frequently with lots of likes and views.
Hey Curtis, I use the DTX 120 Bloody Mullet color. Was cheap didn't want to fork out the extra $5 for the 140. Plus where I was trolling was shallow and the 140 dives deeper. So trolling with the 140 would have been scraping the DTX onto the sandy bottom. Thanks for watching. If you haven't sub, please do me a favor and hit that button.
Always good to share the wealth with knowledge, we all love to fish!
Yes bro, I share with you guys what I know. No secrets here. Thanks for watching.

It’s amazing how you did it! ! ! !
DTX minnow doing work on the halibut! I've always wanted to see this. Great work, keep it going. Tight lines my friend!
Thanks for watching and your support Mikey.
good information, makes for a learning experience.
Thanks for watching.
I am actually going to try the norcal way to catch halibut soon, tight lines!
Thanks for watching bro. Good luck. Keep your bait, lure, jerkbait, plastics, whatever you use in that strike zone. That presentation is very crucial.
@@playdirty714 Thank you, how long do you let the lines out on the DTX?

those are ISO fishing rods, for fishing in the tides on the rockys
Thanks bro. My first time ever seeing a long rod in my life. Was curious af.
@@playdirty714 I was curious if you need to wear a wetsuit for ocean kayak fishing considering how cold the water is here?
@@rc3443 Rarely do I see ocean kayak fishermans wear wetsuits. Only those that free dive.
Great catch, where are you fishing.
Thanks bro. I was in Baby Beach in Dana Point, Southern California.
are you out in Dana point?
Yes. Launched out of Baby Beach
@@playdirty714nice! Didn’t know u fished that area, maybe ill see you one of these days. I copped a DTX minnow after this video, thanks for the info 🫡
