If you're new to my channel and videos, hi! I'm Evan Edinger, and I make travel vlogs of all the exciting places I visit. I started travel vlogging about 8 years ago because I wanted to see more of the world and be able to watch back some of my adventures. I also make weekly comedy videos every Sunday on my main channel usually revolving around funny differences between British vs American things! Anyway, thanks for stopping by!

Glad to see the travel vlogs making a return.
Heather is so in love that it melts my heart
The joys of traveling with Evan lol.
During lockdown “The Tim Traveller” made a few videos about interesting and wacky places in Paris that might be useful inspiration for where to go next time.
I spent a summer in Paris when I was in college and this video just made me so happy and reminiscent of all those adventures - loved just walking through the streets and finding cute alleyways
Shoutout to that “Father of the year” 😂
I missed all of the puns too, so thank you for all the France related puns.
I loved it and it made me miss Paris so much. I was only there a few days with my kiddo over the summer. We stayed in the outskirts with friends and used the train system (paper tickets were confusing compared to NYC, London and Chicago), but still so great to see so much of what made me so happy those few days! Thank you.
Everyone knows the big statue lady is holding two curled up cats ☺️
Statue is holding an American football & a trophy
The boulangeries alone are worth visiting France for.
Okay, I was not expecting the Iron Maiden at 8:30, so Paris, Hallowed be thy name :)
I’d recommend visiting the Pantheon. Lots of interesting graves + a beautiful building
Yes! And the monumental sculptures on the ground floor gave me chills, very emotional. This is our favorite part of Paris, with the nearby Luxembourg Gardens. 🌺
He said bin and not trash can, yes... his journey towards the British side of the force is now complete.
We are off to Paris this year for Baz's first visit. Of course we are going to ride the amazing new rollercoaster opening at Parc Asterix. The grown ups on our channel adore Paris.
Forgive me if I'm wrong, but I think the quasi fenced in relaxing area was so that spectators/parents/chaperones etc., could watch over activities in the court whilst having a nice shaded rest, but also not fearing that they will get hit by a projectile ball or some such activity. They have something similar where I live because they wanted to save money to have the spectating be outside of the actual court itself. That's also why the fences are so high. Cheers on your lovely trip! 😊
Enjoyed this vlog, just enough to give the essence of Paris.
How could I have missed this video?! But better late than never. Have a gala week! Thank you for the video!
7:50 Evan still loving plants for pleasure and profit 😂😁🙌
Try going to the Père Lachaise Cemetery, it's really nice and big. And there are famous people burried there.
Sure have missed your travel vids, Evan!!
Adore Paris but unfortunately outside of the tourist areas it can be a tad bleak and quite dirty...there are certainly some quarters I wouldn't go to as a woman alone, even in the daytime....obviously London has it's bad bits but in general, it is clean and well maintained and having lived in Islington and Hackney for over 20 years, I never felt unsafe anywhere like I did in parts of Paris. 😞🎄🎄🎄
agreed! went on a 5-day solo trip in 2018. 3 days would've defo been enough though ... venturing outside of the tourist areas made be feel quite uncomfortable tbh. Being alone in Paris as a woman was probs one of my least favourite travel experiences.
Agreed! Would head somewhere that’s not Paris or spend a few days wandering around the touristy bits
Part of the 18th 19th arrondissements are pretty dirty. But the rest is clean !
Looks like your luck at Air BnBs has picked up since last year. Love the vibes in your travel vlogs :)
Evan looks less like an American in France, and more like a French Canadian. Specifically, an Acadian lumberjack. It's a good look for him. It was nice to see him use his British passport. That sucker is shiny and new.
The little e-ink price tags are there so they can instantly update the whole system if the prices change - they impose huge fines on French shops if they mis-price an item, so this is the most convenient insurance against it
Scrolled the comment for a moment for the explanation. Knew someone would know. Thank you.
Last time I was in Paris was in 1987. Was in Brittany in March/April this year, loved it there.
I went to Paris recently and everything was not where I thought it was, I always thought Notre-Dame was on a hill next to the Moulin Rouge 😂😂😭😭
Everything moves around...obviously...to trick the tourists.... 🤣🤫
🤣
@@johannayaffe2647 ikr 🤣.....also Alcohol IS SOOOOOOO cheap in Paris I literally saw 1.5L tequilas for like €17 that would be like £25 in London
Love Amiens, did you get to see Notre Dame in Amiens? It's amazing.
As a man of Kent I would quite like to go to Le Kent!
LE СUNT
Well, that was great! Thanks for sharing. Good to know we are allowed off our Plague Island - thought the Nazi Home Sec. had made it illegal - wait, that'll be next month ...What's the airbourne statue holding - her week's recycle stuff but she's unclesr which bin to use. Steak Tar-tar, basically a hamburger that's scared of the hot plate. Baggette - perfection in bread - French flour is different from UK/US flour, so dont try ot buy this at home. You give me hope ...😎
Got all excited when you saw the Assouline door… is that the same as the publisher of amazing coffee table books?!
My wanderlust is up :)
But
So..many....adverts😭😭😭
Take aways. Looking for English shops in France and a love of plants.
I thought the Smithsonian was the largest museum in the world, whatever, my brother found it far more fascinating than the Louvre ! We are northern English btw so not deliberately bigging up the US facility, just a fact 😅
9:45 Pretty sure I recognise that place from a film I watched in French recently... if anyone can verify this then that would be great!
Evan, have you ever visited amsterdam
Edit: I heard it said it correctly when he was talking about booking the hotel
As someone that did the first part of my immigration appointments in Amiens, I had absolutely no idea what the hell town you were saying till I read the title😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂, it’s pronounced “ah-mee-uh” with 3 syllables and the last one is seriously nasalized 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
It's interesting to see others in Paris. We had such a shite time when we were there. People were mean and judgmental, it was dirty and there are all these unspoken social rules.
“C’est chiant” is French for saying something’s annoying, I think that’s the word that you thought meant ‘dog’ 😄.
uh I don't think so...
Yeah I thought he meant “chiant” not chien
Wait, but did you get a baguette?

i have in bank as savings not need for mortgage
Search for a flat in 60,000ruros in Paris
Amiens has been hardly destroyed during WW, moreover it's pretty poor and there is very few young people
You can't be so wrong. Amiens is one of the youngest city of France. Great student dynamics.
The 200,000 inhabitants of the metropolitan area are quite diverse, and you would be surprised by the wealthness of some districts (macron doesnt come from lower class if you know what I mean)
The fact that it was partly destroyed during war contributes to the architectural diversity, and beauty of my beloved hometown.
Come to visit one day, would be preferable than spreading some stupid clichés.
