Born too late to explore the world, born too soon to explore the galaxy, born in time to kinda do it by watching dark five.
lol
This is the perfect era to do both thanks to dark5.
Uh we will be leaving earth in like a decade. So no
@@mattcunningham9235 lol we aint going to travel the galaxy any time soon bruh
That was beautiful 😥😥😥😫
Dr. Richthofen, Tank Dempsey, Nikolai Belinski, and Takeo Masaki found Shangri-La. It was full of Zombies.
However, it turns out that the only way to reach it is to buy DLC.
Those damn marketing strategies.
hello brother!
+BadBlueBoys99 Sup bro!
was thinking the same!!! lolol
W
Hahaha! Nice.
Dark 5: Uncharted Edition
lol
I guess he just finished the series lol
+ThePrimeOne_9 lol thought that as well right as he got to #3 lol
Thought the same thing!
He missed Libertalia!
Nathan Drake found El Dorado, Shambhala, and Iran of the Pillars
With the help of Sully. You can't forget Sully.
Didn't 2 Spanish guys from The Road to El Dorado discover that first?
HEY NATHAN DRAKE FOUND IT :^:
+The Omnilution 2.0 WITH SULLY
And Elena
I'm pretty sure Nathan Drake found at least half of these.
Numbers 5, 2, and 1 ;)
Ye
in uncharted 2: among thieves, Nathan finds the lost city of shambala
I knew someone would say this lol
Number 2 was found by Takeo,Dempsey,Nikolai, and Rictofen not Nathan (Morgan) Drake
Me before watching: no way any of these cities exist. After: holy shit why are we not funding this more!!????!!!!
because nukes and killing each other is more important
+Juan Martinez fuck
+Juan Martinez Unfortunately depopulation is a thing. No way empathy will get in the way of profit
+Juan Martinez Oath.
+Snigglefritz McGiggles yup
Uncharted 4 got me wanting to go on expeditions to find these LOL
Edited my auto correct mistake just for you ;)
+Brandon Cutlip Actually, Uncharted 2 sent Drake to find the lost city of Shambhala.
+Sasuke Uchiha Uncharted 3 sends Drake to go find Iram of the Pillars! Who knew the creators of the Uncharted franchise used actual sites?
Mornings Yeeet
5, 2 and 1... so many Uncharted memories :D
This was my favorite episode in a long while.
Anyone else play Uncharted? Gives some idea of what El Dorado, Shambala, and Iram may be like. The new one is about Libertaria
YES, those games are my favorites
theres a new uncharted coming out?
Sai Chandra No.
I was kind of hoping to see the Lost city of Atlantis on this list.
That or el dorado itself
+Depressed Pepe You're on the internet and you're asking a searchable question?
Lol, I will never understand why people do that
Well, the thing with Atlantis is that some people think we've fond it already, and that rumours just got blown out of hand over time, I've forgotten it's name, but there was a thriving Greek island which was hit by a tsunami, that basically wiped everyone out and destroyed lots too, tsunamis also don't just all drain back into the sea immediately too so that place would logically be what the idea of Atlantis was founded on.
Calabi-Yau Manifold i think because he's depressed.. poor pepe :(
don't screw around with #5. Have any of you ever seen The Mummy?! Messing around in ancient Egyptian tombs isn't a great idea.
What's the worst that could happen? *penis turns into a snake*
Oh...
It ain't that bad. *Giant mummy comes to life*
Oh...
i've seen all "the mummy" movies and i love them :p
AXEL VISSERS Lol, me too.
Red Sniper :p i loved the scene were richard cuts himself with the fishing hook XD
Uncharted: Dark5 Edition
L you copied a comment
Dark5: Uncharted Edition*
Love Uncharted.
El Dorado is real. But it's not a city. El Dorado is treasure; a sunken ship loaded in Colombian goal, along with others things. It hasn't been discovered so far.
Nathan Drake did
Angel Tepole But he wasn't the first. In fact, two great explorers found the city in colonial times.
+Diego De Luque Why are you guys treating Drake as if he was a real person?
SuperSaiyan3985 I am not. I don't know why Angel does, but it is kind of stupid to be mad about it, so... I tried to make a joke about the movie _El Dorado_.
all a joke bruh chill
Dark 5 suggestions:
1. Strange occurrences aboard trains
2. Very dysfunctional families
3. Suicides gone awry
4. Signs of a parallel universe
5. Examples of mass hysteria
I LOVE YOUR MUSIC. I will keep saying this until the end of time.
I've always wanted to explore the world and find these places.
From the deserts of the Middle East, to the green trees of the Amazon...
It's a special dream of mine...
AMAZING video Dark 5, you are one of my favorite channels. I would like it if you put links to where you got your information in the description, though
I'm in love with that music. SO good !
Another great video man thanks !
If you played all uncharted games (or watch CZcamsrs) then you know all those may be true. Now if we only knew if the city of Atlantis or Garden of Eden are true.
i remember watching a special on tv once a while back that they found evidence towards the loca to eden. if they were right its currently underwater....
Don't think that it's wayyyy off that they might be true but as with most things, if they are true, they might be extremely exaggerated.
"then you know all those may be true"
so because they are in video games they must be real?? wow you are the stupidest dumbass ever lol
Love ya pic. :)
Uncharted = bae
My daily routine
1:eat
2:sleep
3:eat
4:play games
5:sleep
I just noticed I skipped 2 ;(
Fail.
What the fuck does that have to do with dark5 and a video about five lost cities? Take that vapid shit to Facebook.
+Tyrone McWatermelon lol
me too :(
and watch strange videos ;D
You just keep bringing it Dark 5. I love when you do videos about this subject. Benn a fan for a long time, ever since you popped up under recommendations when I started watching Hybrid Librarian. Keep up the great work.
lovin it dark5! keep up the great vids
I just live right next to the #3 (for real) lol
Same lolllll
Go out exploring dude! Wish I could.
Chris Chan -_- :D
Ulfrik Vlademirsson Its probably not existing
Ah bin tabarnak xD
I love things like this. Mysterious lost cities and land that may have existed. A lot of mythical cities may have existed. Way back then, the world was a completely different place; a place of wonder and magic that seemed to stretch on forever. To think of how ancient people viewed the world back then sort of makes me wish I existed way long ago. All this technology takes away from that wonder and sense of magic. Kind of boring, in my opinion. I wish I could go to a time long forgotten, as long as I don't get eaten by cannibals, or tortured by some inquisition.
Dude, id totally take cave living over ps4 EASY.
LMAO! Good luck hiding from cannibalism and religious persecution in ancient times. That was cute please continue...
William See Then go do it. There are plenty of caves in the world. Perhaps third world Nepal? Maybe Iraq? Put your money where your mouth is.
EDIT: Apparently people thought I was talking about supercyberfunk. I wasn't.
AlphosLeo I can't. I don't have a time machine. Tell you what. Build one, and we'll go on a grand adventure.
supercyberfunk I was actually talking about William See
Excellent as always, Dark5! And the music is Really kickin'!
Love these videos! Keep up the good work.
Hmm, now if we can only find Atlantis!
I know this is really cliche and a lot of people bullshit.
but FUCK this channel had grown.
I was here late around 40k subs but shit has grown Well and Is deserved.
this is a good page with great content
Never change love the ambient cold dark feeling this page has.
Love these videos!So educational
Awesome Dark5, like almost all you do.
Richthofen found Shangri-la. Nathan Drake found the rest
Technically, Uncharted 2 released before BO, so Drake still got them all.
+RaGing_Wild but BO1 takes place before Uncharted 2
City of the Monkey God...BTD references is airstriking my head
Lol
BTD? Can't think of what it is. I probably know it, I am not great with abbreviations.
+Bryce Birkinbine It's a game for like phones and tablets called Bloons Tower Defense
+Bryce Birkinbine bloons tower defense
manoptic Ah. Thanks. Heard of it, but never played it.
I always love your vids 👌
Videos like this are so interesting. Hope you do more like this in the future
What about Libertalia?
That's just a theorised pirate settlement, there were loads of those so it's hardly special
+Ballrace1 It was way bigger than just a regular pirate settlement
ShadowsTrooper Post source of evidence of pirate settlements being usually smaller than Libertalia please.
+Ballrace1 "These pirates who settled in Libertalia would be "vigilant Guardians of the People's Rights and Liberties"; they would stand as "Barriers against the Rich and Powerful" of their day. By waging war on behalf of "the Oppressed" against the "Oppressors," they would see that "Justice was equally distributed." This was not a normal pirate settlement. Use your logic. Do YOU have a source saying that it was just another pirate settlement?
Stop with the Uncharted fanboying. Also, you didn't name a source for this so called information you've presented. This list is for locations that MIGHT be real and there is very little that says Libertalia could be.
This really got me thinking of Uncharted. Too bad Nathan Drake usually destroys these places when he is finally able to discover them.
Could you consider doing "5 Most horrifying Bigfoot encounters" please? @Dark5
Awesome video, mate.
#5= Uncharted 1
#2= Uncharted 2
#1= Uncharted 3
Uncharted anyone?
Yup!
i cant Chated
Dead Eye Wut.

+Xbox and PC master race someone's a little jelly
+Xbox and PC master race you care too much
Ye
+Xbox and PC master race Like your name doesn't just mean you're a fanboy
+Xbox and PC master race here comes the salt from people that can't play uncharted.
Now, with Top 5 mythical places that don't exist!
1. Heaven
2.Hell
3.Babylon
4.Purgatory
5. and where ever the intelligence of a religious person is stored.
Leave it to an internet atheist to start a religious debate over something that has nothing to do with it.
I am a christian and I find this offensive
I find your existence offensive
Wow, could you be anymore of a fedora-tipper?
Babylon did exist
Very interesting stuff :D
Dark 5, you are my favorite and least repetitive channel. Great work!
Spolier alert: El Dorado turns out to be a cursed golden sarcophagus
2 of these cities were found by Nathan Drake 🙏🙏🙏
*3
Heeeey I knew I'd find some Uncharted fans down here!
+Plot Twist was it 3?
+Plot Twist I missed El Dorado
Da Asha Zireael Weeeell let's call it 2.5 since it was a statue in the game ^^
Iram of the Pillars kind of reminds me of Lorenzo's expeditions during the late 1800s
Comments so lulled by the music and content: not a troll in sight. Love it and love this vid. ;)
3/5 Nathan Drake has found. Should have added the treasure of Henry Avery in there 😂.
Fools. There's no kingdom inside the Earth. Only The Cluster.
I got the joke
I see what u did there with that reference.
Spiral Mark /Fetez Barnes marry me

Kenzaroo lol
Its amazing what new technology keeps revealing. I love your scarey vids but love the informative ones more
Always lovely to see the lighter side of the Dark5
Uncharted
yaa boy uncharted is out
I don't know why, but your into music always give me chills...
Loving the music dark 👌
i hate all the bullshit stuff that is on dark5 lately
the same thing happened that happened to every other countdown channel: it became a stupid bunch of clickbait fairy tales
It's been like that over the years. So stop clicking his channel you fuck.
Although I agree with your opinion, I find it quite entertaining. I love Dark 5's story telling and music choice. It's wonderful to watch. If I wanted a documentary I don't think I would've even come to youtube. I'd be reading facts from journal findings lol.
At least the content presented is still quite interesting.
First of all a lot of people like it, how do you know what's fairy tales and what's true anyways.
whats dark about this video
the jumpscares
Calm down, kid.
And you. No need to get so worked up about nothing.
Where did you get the song from? I searched what you typed in the description but found nothing, both on youtube and google, also with space between the words.
I love the idea that these places are out there somewhere, just waiting to be discovered.
donald trump > hillary clinton
#MAKEAMERICAGREATAGAIN
lol no
gr8 b8 m8.
Boring trend
+Cthulhu for America Sadly, with the people we have to vote for today I would vote for you...
Hispanic for Trump
A mythical place would be a pub in my town thats actually decent to have a drink in
So, Mourde didn't actually "find" anything, right? Since his guide pointed it out.
Guide: to your left, the city of the monkey god
Mourde: to my left I have found the city of the monkey god.
Saw an episode of Expedition Unknown covering Shambhala. It was pretty cool seeing those hollowed intricate caves.
not bad! very interesting.. make me wish I was still young and able to go back to looking for these things.
This music, this video just makes me want to set the sails and try to find new sites on my own lol
That is what has always fascinated me about South America---that hidden ruins are indeed still out there... waiting to be rediscovered under the thick foliage and vines.
Dark5 well done! What an amazing video! I thought Atlantis was the only mysterious city but after this I was proven delightfully wrong! Cool!
hello dark5, could you please tell me which program do you use to make your videos? thank you in advance
Dat music. When I first heard the synth, I thought "Strap in, shits about to get intense!"
As someone from Honduras I would like to point out the local Pech tribes in Mosquitia have always known about the ruins of the city of the monkey god. They just have spent centuries trying to keep it away from Western men because they feared (quite correctly) that its 'discovery' would lead to its sacking and that they would be barred from accessing it. As it is, now that it is discovered, the first attempts by looters have been reported and the government is trying to bar the natives access to the sector on grounds that they disturb the ruins and they might join in on the looting *sigh*.
Holy shit dude #1, #2, and #5 were all Uncharted! So hyped when those came up :3 they looked astonishing in the games...except (spoiler alert) El Dorado was never a treasure but a coffin.
The first one would be the archaeological discovery of the last 50 years. a hidden city of 60,000 people? That's huge.
my friend, the music is very good! Is it your own? Where can I find more of it? Thanks
I heard there was a mythical place called the Land of Opportunity...there, in the mythical place a normal middle class kid could dream of becoming the president, honest people could make an honest living, have good health insurance and have a retirement after years of loyalty to a decent company that one was proud to work for. People said hello to each other as they passed by and food was healthy and safe to eat, the water was good and the air was clean. People had integrity in this mythical land and people could work hard to move up in class even if you were born poor. The leaders were honest and cared about the people and the environment. I wonder what happened to that place?
That was just a marketing slogan....
Do you even capitalize on capitalism like a good capitalist??
+Arvark Ha! You're probably right...and no I'm not allowed to be a capitalist because I was not born to the 1% and therefore was made a servant to to owners.
Just too cool/the info... I 'm ready to go visit!!! Maps in hand, or should I use, GPS?
I'm Canadian! Need to go find the lost city of Saguenay... be right back!
Hell yeah! Exactly the 10,000th viewer!!
dude
this is cool
watching this and playing the uncharted 4 game really makes me happy especially shambala
>5 mythical places that might actually exist
>the thumbnail is the core of the earth
Dark 5 I have some shocking news for you....
City of the Monkey God... There was a TV show back in the early 80s called Tales of the Gold Monkey which was an Indiana Jones-ish adventure show set in the 1930s and in the first episode they were searching for a mythical "gold monkey" statue but missed the fact that they had actually been inside a whole monkey-shaped lost city. I wonder if this is where they got the idea for that show.
I study history at the university and the teacher has actually given us a book which mentions briefly this Z city and its 60000 inhabitants.
Shambhala and Ubar? better get my holster, time to treasure hunt!! :)
Basically the Uncharted Series was predicting the future
You should read "lost in Shangri-La", it pertains to an American WW2 story finding a lost civilization like the one listed #2 on the list, it's really cool
Aw yeahhhh niggas! uploaded 4 minutes agooo, where's my VIP seat at Dark5?!!
i can imagine a bunch of traps on the way to el dorado like stepping on a stone and you trigger a large log with spikes
I'm surprised Atlantis isn't here. I'm actually glad since that would've been too predictable.
I cant get over the music... yes plz.
I love stories like this I never heard of the monkey god one tho
That synthwave!
lol. #3 is my favourite. I want to learn more about it
They always choose the right music for these videos... It's that and the text-only presentation that makes it so creepy. If it was just some random guy reading it out with some cheesy background music then it wouldn't have half the effect.
“Nathan Drake, that two-bit thief, risking it all for some piece of treasure.” I guess that’s how they know me. How they’ll remember me. But that’s not who I am.
How could it be considered that Theodore Morde "found" the Lost City of the Monkey God when he had GUIDES and a whole expedition lead him there while using indigenous info about where to find it?
