I started watching your videos a few weeks ago. During that same time I landed my first Data Analyst role. After hundreds of applications, feeling extremely discouraged, facing every emotion of inadequacy, interviewing but getting turned down after several interview rounds, I finally got it. It took me 6 months on the dot to land this role. However I never gave up, battled all my mental doubts and reassured myself everyday. Yes it was hard but we are here now. Micro steps for macro results.
Anyone who is beginning there journey. Just go ballzzz to the all hard. In the 6 months I got 4 certifications increasing my market value and foundational knowledge. Ask yourself “who’s gonna carry the logs and the boats”

Hi mate, what are the best sites to look for data analyst roles in Dubai
another thing I would like to add is that EVERYONE is applying to places where the big bucks are located....one should look into smaller areas like academia. It might suck balls at first but it is something for someone to improve their resume. I can guarantee you that research scientists would love to have a data analyst on their team because not many people would like to enter the academia world because the pay is crud.

Any moderately powerfully laptop would suffice. The data programme are not that demanding. Personally, I have the Dell Xps 15

No easy way to answer. It would depend how much you know already, how good you are at self directed learning and the specific job market for your area. As mentioned the bottom level of the market is the toughest to get into so the more you learn the better. I would say learn the minimum skills and once comfortable, start applying and continue learning more things until you find a job.

I moved mainly because my family did about 13 years ago. But the reason I stay is its a good life. Good opportunities, good place to live and plenty things to do and safe. Compared with the UK, I'd rather be here. Wish the Internet was a bit better though lol

you wrote no degree in the video title but you have a data sciene bsc and diploma at computing&finance lol
A diploma is not a degree, it is completed in grade 12. The bsc data science is something I will finish in a few years from now. I only recently started. I've been working in data for several years with only a grade 12 certificate.
