is it okay to ask what county you are building in? I am finding it's hard to get answers from companies like Duke Power, unless i know what county I would be building in....and we haven't bought our mountain property just yet....looking and research stages. I haven't seen all your videos yet, but I am wondering what off grid energy sources will you be using? Will you still be connected to Duke Energy and having the net metering program where you are still hooked up to Duke, but using your own energy unless you sometimes need theirs? I was trying to get someone at Duke to answer this question, but they couldn't....I want to know if you can build an off grid home in NC without being connected to Duke at all? And if so, what are the specifications? What is the square footage they will allow you to build without being connected to power? If you know any resources that would help me in my researching, I would really appreciate it! Hope things are going well at this stage of your building process...

Why film and try to talk with the back up beepers going? Just wait a minute. Super distracting and makes for a poor viewing experience.
