in the level named "WAR" i am creeped out by the fact that peppino might have been a war veteran
Pepinno can go from "scared Italian" to "I'm going to rip out your entire nervous system and enjoy it" in 3 seconds
That's what we like to call "anxiety overflow." Sometimes you get so anxious and nervous, you go "screw it" and go feral on whatever is stressing you out.

This game reminds me a lot of the WarioLand Games. It’s such a beauty that a game with a gross-out humor aesthetic bring back such underrated game mechanics 😊.

@Goose43 It is. The creator basically just made a game inspired by that series, in some early builds there are even WL audios as placeholders.
@@Imrunningoutofnames69 One of the earlier SAGE demos is directly insipred by WarioLand 4, with its slower paced gameplay. And Peppino's dash in that demo is more akin to Wario's dash.

This looks like a pretty fun and nice looking game and I like how it feels like Pepinno have the power of Wario but the Bravery and the cartoonist of Courage the Cowardly Dog.
Some of the music and art reminded me of Rocko's Modern, truly an amazing game with such good charm

if you take a look at the background of Don't Make A Sound, you can see the backstory of events prior to the game. the level is set in a defunct pizza location called Pizzaboy's Pizz Pizza which was owned by Pizza Face. some of the mascots of the restaurant were the bosses in the game such as Noise and The Vigilante. heck, even Peppino himself along with Gustavo worked there as mascots themselves. eventually Peppino left to start his own business which began the downfall of Pizz Pizza. Pizza Face and the gang tried their best to replace Peppino with animatronics like Peshino but nothing worked. it was at that time Peppino, in the words of Mat Pat in his Game Theory video on the game decided to play a little dirty. he was aware of the dangerous products stored aware in the backroom of Pizz Pizza so he called a health and safety inspector with intent to shut down the place it worked a bit too well as the inspector was killed this led to Pizz Pizza shutting down and Pizza Face AKA Pizza Head to seek revenge.
I never properly understood the lore of Pizza Tower, but now I do. Thank you

My uncle Geno ran a pizza parlor and had this as one of his arcade games. He'd be playing it more than making pizza sometimes. He passed away in 2016 after his lasagna got infected. I still think of him every time I see this game. Bless you for uploading it.

I just wanna say thank you. Literally every other Pizza Tower gameplay vid I've seen is for p ranks. I just want to see one lap, man
though I can’t afford to play most games, watching someone else play it is so satisfying. I remember back when I’d pretend I was playing binding of Isaac on my fire tablet. it brings back that pure child in me and lets it just take over for all the time I have. doesn’t help that also this game is inspired by a lot of games I have nostalgia for like courage the cowardly dog and sm64. this is seriously my favorite game now.

Quick tip for speed: go from a slide (E then S) let go of E then hold shift, you'll instantly end up in Mach 3, and then you can press e and during the grab attack, hold shift too gain quick speed

I've never liked platformers, never really got the hang of them and they would only leave me frustrated. I didn't want to get the game, but watching the playthrough lets me experience the story and characters without the added frustration of dying over and over again, so thank you!

Pizza tower is literally a remake of Wario land 4 but instead of peppino that is just Italian trying protect his pizzaria, Wario just want money (or whatever was his actual objective, I literally was playing Wario land and when I noticed both was really similar I freaked out)
