Maybe hope has forgotten us, for it seems like we are blocked by concrete walls running around aimlessly in the maze of despair. With lots of obstacles and people that try to stop us, even our so called friends, we must fight to keep hope alive.
Yes I metaphorically puned Hope from FF 13 with The Maze Runner.

In fact, hope is younger than Snow. But why his age is 24? Snow's age is 23. It should be Hope's age is 16 due 2 years later after FFXIII-1
This scene was set 10 years after FFXIII. You move around in time. You later encounter 27 year old Hope, and that's the age Hope is physically at the end of FFXIII-2.

The present day (when we first meet Serah) is 3 years after the first game. This segment is set 10 years after the first game, so Hope (who was 13-14 in the first game) is now 23-24. Snow meanwhile only aged 2-3 years since he time traveled to another time.
