I tried this. Definitely made sound of static go away -- BUT channel no longer works either. I was hopeful it was resolved. Good thing the second channel still works. JBL PRX812W's. have had about 2 years and have never been happy with them.
the same thing is happening with my JBL studio monitors and sometimes it goes away for a little while but it always comes back and I never even move these.

I could not see where you actually sprayed it at. Your phone was turned in another direction.

Mine is a yamaha and it's making a continuous popping noise sounds just like water dripping
