My favorite thing about William’s videos is how much emotion and personality Cameraman John portrays without even showing his face. It amazes me. Truly a very talented cameraman.
It actually made me emotional when William was wearing the arm, got frustrated and brought up how he’s trying to grow the channel. The joy of these videos is the hap hazard nature and fun funny care free spirit. The fact that he just ported over a gift idea to another person was funny in the intro but by the end it seemed uninvested in the execution as it had turned mainly into a marketing stunt. Just be yourself William. Dan is a loser anyway. Make what you’re passionate about. You’re happy = we’re happy. It’s tough making things in the RV. Take your time rebuilding your life. You’ll have another laser one day. We’ll stick through a lull in content. We love you and we thank you.

I agree. We came here for William Osman, not just for the content. The people who are really here to see him have a good time and be passionate about his projects will stay through if there's a quiet period. We'll be here through all of it, no matter how long it takes to get everything back on track.

Plug the fan mail USB into a Raspberry Pi if you're scared of viruses. If you have a model B or older it's completely offline, so it can't mess with your network and if it's one of those zap your USB port things you're only out like $30.

An older raspi not connected via ethernet is completely contained. Even if a virus effected the pi, which it probably wouldn't given they usually run on a Linux distro, all you'd have to do is wipe the entire thing and start over. It's not hard or dangerous.

It's really interesting and cool to be able to understand, or at least have a better understanding (obviously not a full one), why you're making the decisions you are and why something works out the way it does. For some people, the solution to a workbench swamped with stuff it a tool cabinet with nice bearing-runner drawers, like the Snap-On cabinets. For others, this means they don't know where anything is, and a better solution would be a combination of pegboard (see Park Tools' videos) and a rolling tool stand (see Adam Savage's walkthrough of his stand).
The main barrier to the latter is space. Will's RV won't achieve this unless he goes completely Breaking Bad and strips all the fittings out. I'm currently renting a pretty small place, so my main organisational strategy is that all my spare bike parts and consumables are on one big shelving unit but categorised using transparent boxes, so I have "the hydraulic brake box", "the crank bearings and spindles box" etc... there are about 15 transparent boxes, each about 12x9x7".
